وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتّٰى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجٰهِدِيْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَالصّٰبِرِيْنَۙ وَنَبْلُوَا۟ اَخْبَارَكُمْ ٣١
- walanabluwannakum
- وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ
- And surely We will test you
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- naʿlama
- نَعْلَمَ
- We make evident
- l-mujāhidīna
- ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ
- those who strive
- minkum
- مِنكُمْ
- among you
- wal-ṣābirīna
- وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
- and the patient ones
- wanabluwā
- وَنَبْلُوَا۟
- and We will test
- akhbārakum
- أَخْبَارَكُمْ
- your affairs
And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 31)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَشَاۤقُّوا الرَّسُوْلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدٰى لَنْ يَّضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـًٔاۗ وَسَيُحْبِطُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ ٣٢
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- waṣaddū
- وَصَدُّوا۟
- and turn away
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way of Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (the) way of Allah
- washāqqū
- وَشَآقُّوا۟
- and opposed
- l-rasūla
- ٱلرَّسُولَ
- the Messenger
- min
- مِنۢ
- after
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- mā
- مَا
- [what]
- tabayyana
- تَبَيَّنَ
- (has been) made clear
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- to them
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰ
- the guidance
- lan
- لَن
- never
- yaḍurrū
- يَضُرُّوا۟
- will they harm
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- (in) anything
- wasayuḥ'biṭu
- وَسَيُحْبِطُ
- and He will make worthless
- aʿmālahum
- أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
- their deeds
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them – never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 32)Tafsir
۞ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوْٓا اَعْمَالَكُمْ ٣٣
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you who believe!
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- O you who believe!
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- O you who believe!
- aṭīʿū
- أَطِيعُوا۟
- Obey
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- wa-aṭīʿū
- وَأَطِيعُوا۟
- and obey
- l-rasūla
- ٱلرَّسُولَ
- the Messenger
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- tub'ṭilū
- تُبْطِلُوٓا۟
- make vain
- aʿmālakum
- أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ
- your deeds
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 33)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوْا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يَّغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ ٣٤
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- waṣaddū
- وَصَدُّوا۟
- and turn away
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- mātū
- مَاتُوا۟
- died
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- while they
- kuffārun
- كُفَّارٌ
- (were) disbelievers
- falan
- فَلَن
- never
- yaghfira
- يَغْفِرَ
- will Allah forgive
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- will Allah forgive
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- them
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers – never will Allah forgive them. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 34)Tafsir
فَلَا تَهِنُوْا وَتَدْعُوْٓا اِلَى السَّلْمِۖ وَاَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَۗ وَاللّٰهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَنْ يَّتِرَكُمْ اَعْمَالَكُمْ ٣٥
- falā
- فَلَا
- So (do) not
- tahinū
- تَهِنُوا۟
- weaken
- watadʿū
- وَتَدْعُوٓا۟
- and call
- ilā
- إِلَى
- for
- l-salmi
- ٱلسَّلْمِ
- peace
- wa-antumu
- وَأَنتُمُ
- while you
- l-aʿlawna
- ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ
- (are) superior
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- and Allah
- maʿakum
- مَعَكُمْ
- (is) with you
- walan
- وَلَن
- and never
- yatirakum
- يَتِرَكُمْ
- will deprive you
- aʿmālakum
- أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ
- (of) your deeds
So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 35)Tafsir
اِنَّمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهْوٌ ۗوَاِنْ تُؤْمِنُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا يُؤْتِكُمْ اُجُوْرَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ اَمْوَالَكُمْ ٣٦
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- Only
- l-ḥayatu
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
- the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- laʿibun
- لَعِبٌ
- (is) play
- walahwun
- وَلَهْوٌۚ
- and amusement
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- tu'minū
- تُؤْمِنُوا۟
- you believe
- watattaqū
- وَتَتَّقُوا۟
- and fear (Allah)
- yu'tikum
- يُؤْتِكُمْ
- He will give you
- ujūrakum
- أُجُورَكُمْ
- your rewards
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yasalkum
- يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ
- will ask you
- amwālakum
- أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ
- (for) your wealth
[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 36)Tafsir
اِنْ يَّسْـَٔلْكُمُوْهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوْا وَيُخْرِجْ اَضْغَانَكُمْ ٣٧
- in
- إِن
- If
- yasalkumūhā
- يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا
- He were to ask you for it
- fayuḥ'fikum
- فَيُحْفِكُمْ
- and press you
- tabkhalū
- تَبْخَلُوا۟
- you will withhold
- wayukh'rij
- وَيُخْرِجْ
- and He will bring forth
- aḍghānakum
- أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ
- your hatred
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your hatred [i.e., unwillingness]. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 37)Tafsir
هٰٓاَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنْفِقُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِۚ فَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يَّبْخَلُ ۚوَمَنْ يَّبْخَلْ فَاِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَنْ نَّفْسِهٖ ۗوَاللّٰهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَاَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاۤءُ ۗ وَاِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْۙ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُوْنُوْٓا اَمْثَالَكُمْ ࣖ ٣٨
- hāantum
- هَٰٓأَنتُمْ
- Here you are -
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these
- tud'ʿawna
- تُدْعَوْنَ
- called
- litunfiqū
- لِتُنفِقُوا۟
- to spend
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah -
- faminkum
- فَمِنكُم
- but among you
- man
- مَّن
- (are some) who
- yabkhalu
- يَبْخَلُۖ
- withhold
- waman
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- yabkhal
- يَبْخَلْ
- withholds
- fa-innamā
- فَإِنَّمَا
- then only
- yabkhalu
- يَبْخَلُ
- he withholds
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- nafsihi
- نَّفْسِهِۦۚ
- himself
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- But Allah
- l-ghaniyu
- ٱلْغَنِىُّ
- (is) Free of need
- wa-antumu
- وَأَنتُمُ
- while you
- l-fuqarāu
- ٱلْفُقَرَآءُۚ
- (are) the needy
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- tatawallaw
- تَتَوَلَّوْا۟
- you turn away
- yastabdil
- يَسْتَبْدِلْ
- He will replace you
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- (with) a people
- ghayrakum
- غَيْرَكُمْ
- other than you
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yakūnū
- يَكُونُوٓا۟
- they will be
- amthālakum
- أَمْثَٰلَكُم
- (the) likes of you
Here you are – those invited to spend in the cause of Allah – but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away [i.e., refuse], He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you. (QS. [47] Muhammad: 38)Tafsir
