يٰقَوْمَنَآ اَجِيْبُوْا دَاعِيَ اللّٰهِ وَاٰمِنُوْا بِهٖ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِّنْ ذُنُوْبِكُمْ وَيُجِرْكُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ ٣١
- yāqawmanā
- يَٰقَوْمَنَآ
- O our people!
- ajībū
- أَجِيبُوا۟
- Respond
- dāʿiya
- دَاعِىَ
- (to the) caller
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- waāminū
- وَءَامِنُوا۟
- and believe
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in him
- yaghfir
- يَغْفِرْ
- He will forgive
- lakum
- لَكُم
- for you
- min
- مِّن
- of
- dhunūbikum
- ذُنُوبِكُمْ
- your sins
- wayujir'kum
- وَيُجِرْكُم
- and will protect you
- min
- مِّنْ
- from
- ʿadhābin
- عَذَابٍ
- a punishment
- alīmin
- أَلِيمٍ
- painful
O our people, respond to the Caller [i.e., Messenger] of Allah and believe in him; He [i.e., Allah] will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment. (QS. [46] Al-Ahqaf: 31)Tafsir
32
وَمَنْ لَّا يُجِبْ دَاعِيَ اللّٰهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُعْجِزٍ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَيْسَ لَهٗ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖٓ اَوْلِيَاۤءُ ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٣٢
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- lā
- لَّا
- (does) not
- yujib
- يُجِبْ
- respond
- dāʿiya
- دَاعِىَ
- (to the) caller
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- falaysa
- فَلَيْسَ
- then not
- bimuʿ'jizin
- بِمُعْجِزٍ
- he can escape
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- walaysa
- وَلَيْسَ
- and not
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- min
- مِن
- besides Him
- dūnihi
- دُونِهِۦٓ
- besides Him
- awliyāu
- أَوْلِيَآءُۚ
- protectors
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- ḍalālin
- ضَلَٰلٍ
- error
- mubīnin
- مُّبِينٍ
- clear"
But he who does not respond to the Caller of Allah will not cause failure [to Him] upon earth, and he will not have besides Him any protectors. Those are in manifest error." (QS. [46] Al-Ahqaf: 32)Tafsir
33
اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنْ يُّحْيِ َۧ الْمَوْتٰى ۗبَلٰٓى اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٣٣
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Do not
- yaraw
- يَرَوْا۟
- they see
- anna
- أَنَّ
- that
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- and (did) not
- yaʿya
- يَعْىَ
- get tired
- bikhalqihinna
- بِخَلْقِهِنَّ
- by their creation
- biqādirin
- بِقَٰدِرٍ
- (is) able
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰٓ
- to give life
- an
- أَن
- to give life
- yuḥ'yiya
- يُحْۦِىَ
- to give life
- l-mawtā
- ٱلْمَوْتَىٰۚ
- (to) the dead?
- balā
- بَلَىٰٓ
- Yes
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- indeed He
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent. (QS. [46] Al-Ahqaf: 33)Tafsir
34
وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا عَلَى النَّارِۗ اَلَيْسَ هٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَرَبِّنَا ۗقَالَ فَذُوْقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ ٣٤
- wayawma
- وَيَوْمَ
- And (the) Day
- yuʿ'raḍu
- يُعْرَضُ
- are exposed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- to
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِ
- the Fire
- alaysa
- أَلَيْسَ
- "Is not
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۖ
- the truth?"
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They will say
- balā
- بَلَىٰ
- "Yes
- warabbinā
- وَرَبِّنَاۚ
- by our Lord"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He will say
- fadhūqū
- فَذُوقُوا۟
- "Then taste
- l-ʿadhāba
- ٱلْعَذَابَ
- the punishment
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you used (to)
- takfurūna
- تَكْفُرُونَ
- disbelieve"
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment for what you used to deny." (QS. [46] Al-Ahqaf: 34)Tafsir
35
فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ اُولُوا الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلْ لَّهُمْ ۗ كَاَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوْعَدُوْنَۙ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوْٓا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنْ نَّهَارٍ ۗ بَلٰغٌ ۚفَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ اِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ࣖ ٣٥
- fa-iṣ'bir
- فَٱصْبِرْ
- So be patient
- kamā
- كَمَا
- as
- ṣabara
- صَبَرَ
- had patience
- ulū
- أُو۟لُوا۟
- those of determination
- l-ʿazmi
- ٱلْعَزْمِ
- those of determination
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-rusuli
- ٱلرُّسُلِ
- the Messengers
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- tastaʿjil
- تَسْتَعْجِل
- seek to hasten
- lahum
- لَّهُمْۚ
- for them
- ka-annahum
- كَأَنَّهُمْ
- As if they had
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (the) Day
- yarawna
- يَرَوْنَ
- they see
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yūʿadūna
- يُوعَدُونَ
- they were promised
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yalbathū
- يَلْبَثُوٓا۟
- remained
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- sāʿatan
- سَاعَةً
- an hour
- min
- مِّن
- of
- nahārin
- نَّهَارٍۭۚ
- a day
- balāghun
- بَلَٰغٌۚ
- A clear Message
- fahal
- فَهَلْ
- But will
- yuh'laku
- يُهْلَكُ
- (any) be destroyed
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- l-qawmu
- ٱلْقَوْمُ
- the people
- l-fāsiqūna
- ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ
- the defiantly disobedient?
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be – on the Day they see that which they are promised – as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people? (QS. [46] Al-Ahqaf: 35)Tafsir
