Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Jathiyah Verse 37
Al-Jathiyah [45]: 37 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاۤءُ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ۗوَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ࣖ ۔ (الجاثية : ٤٥)
- walahu
- وَلَهُ
- And for Him
- l-kib'riyāu
- ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ
- (is) the greatness
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ
- and the earth
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- (is) the All-Mighty
- l-ḥakīmu
- ٱلْحَكِيمُ
- the All-Wise
Transliteration:
Wa lahul kibriyaaa'u fissamaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem(QS. al-Jāthiyah:37)
English / Sahih Translation:
And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (QS. Al-Jathiyah, ayah 37)

Tafsir jalalayn
And to Him belongs [all] grandeur, [all] majesty, in the heavens and the earth (f'l-samwti wa'l-ardi is a circumstantial qualifier), and He is the Mighty, the Wise -- as [explained in a similar statement] above. Meccan, except for verses 10,15 and 35, which are Medinese; it consists of 34 or 35 verses.
