تَنْزِيْلُ الْكِتٰبِ مِنَ اللّٰهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَكِيْمِ ٢
- tanzīlu
- تَنزِيلُ
- (The) revelation
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book
- mina
- مِنَ
- (is) from
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- l-ʿazīzi
- ٱلْعَزِيزِ
- the All-Mighty
- l-ḥakīmi
- ٱلْحَكِيمِ
- the All-Wise
The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 2)Tafsir
3
اِنَّ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۗ ٣
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- laāyātin
- لَءَايَٰتٍ
- surely (are) Signs
- lil'mu'minīna
- لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- for the believers
Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 3)Tafsir
4
وَفِيْ خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ اٰيٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُّوْقِنُوْنَۙ ٤
- wafī
- وَفِى
- And in
- khalqikum
- خَلْقِكُمْ
- your creation
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- yabuthu
- يَبُثُّ
- He disperses
- min
- مِن
- of
- dābbatin
- دَآبَّةٍ
- (the) moving creatures
- āyātun
- ءَايَٰتٌ
- (are) Signs
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yūqinūna
- يُوقِنُونَ
- who are certain
And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 4)Tafsir
5
وَاخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مِنْ رِّزْقٍ فَاَحْيَا بِهِ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيْفِ الرِّيٰحِ اٰيٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّعْقِلُوْنَ ٥
- wa-ikh'tilāfi
- وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ
- And (in the) alternation
- al-layli
- ٱلَّيْلِ
- (of) the night
- wal-nahāri
- وَٱلنَّهَارِ
- and the day
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- and what
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- Allah sends down
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah sends down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- min
- مِن
- of
- riz'qin
- رِّزْقٍ
- (the) provision
- fa-aḥyā
- فَأَحْيَا
- and gives life
- bihi
- بِهِ
- thereby
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- (to) the earth
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- mawtihā
- مَوْتِهَا
- its death
- wataṣrīfi
- وَتَصْرِيفِ
- and (in) directing of
- l-riyāḥi
- ٱلرِّيَٰحِ
- (the) winds
- āyātun
- ءَايَٰتٌ
- (are) Signs
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yaʿqilūna
- يَعْقِلُونَ
- who reason
And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allah sends down from the sky of provision [i.e., rain] and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 5)Tafsir
6
تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ اللّٰهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّۚ فَبِاَيِّ حَدِيْثٍۢ بَعْدَ اللّٰهِ وَاٰيٰتِهٖ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٦
- til'ka
- تِلْكَ
- These
- āyātu
- ءَايَٰتُ
- (are the) Verses
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- natlūhā
- نَتْلُوهَا
- We recite them
- ʿalayka
- عَلَيْكَ
- to you
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۖ
- in truth
- fabi-ayyi
- فَبِأَىِّ
- Then in what
- ḥadīthin
- حَدِيثٍۭ
- statement
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- waāyātihi
- وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ
- and His Verses
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- will they believe?
These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 6)Tafsir
7
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثِيْمٍۙ ٧
- waylun
- وَيْلٌ
- Woe
- likulli
- لِّكُلِّ
- to every
- affākin
- أَفَّاكٍ
- liar
- athīmin
- أَثِيمٍ
- sinful
Woe to every sinful liar (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 7)Tafsir
8
يَّسْمَعُ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَاَنْ لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَاۚ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ ٨
- yasmaʿu
- يَسْمَعُ
- Who hears
- āyāti
- ءَايَٰتِ
- (the) Verses
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- tut'lā
- تُتْلَىٰ
- recited
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- to him
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- yuṣirru
- يُصِرُّ
- persists
- mus'takbiran
- مُسْتَكْبِرًا
- arrogantly
- ka-an
- كَأَن
- as if
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- yasmaʿhā
- يَسْمَعْهَاۖ
- he heard them
- fabashir'hu
- فَبَشِّرْهُ
- So give him tidings
- biʿadhābin
- بِعَذَابٍ
- (of) a punishment
- alīmin
- أَلِيمٍ
- painful
Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 8)Tafsir
9
وَاِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ اٰيٰتِنَا شَيْـًٔا ۨاتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌۗ ٩
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- ʿalima
- عَلِمَ
- he knows
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- āyātinā
- ءَايَٰتِنَا
- Our Verses
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- anything
- ittakhadhahā
- ٱتَّخَذَهَا
- he takes them
- huzuwan
- هُزُوًاۚ
- (in) ridicule
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those -
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- muhīnun
- مُّهِينٌ
- humiliating
And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 9)Tafsir
10
مِنْ وَّرَاۤىِٕهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۚوَلَا يُغْنِيْ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَسَبُوْا شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَوْلِيَاۤءَۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌۗ ١٠

- مِّن
- Before them
- warāihim
- وَرَآئِهِمْ
- Before them
- jahannamu
- جَهَنَّمُۖ
- (is) Hell
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yugh'nī
- يُغْنِى
- will avail
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُم
- them
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- kasabū
- كَسَبُوا۟
- they had earned
- shayan
- شَيْـًٔا
- anything
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- mā
- مَا
- what
- ittakhadhū
- ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
- they had taken
- min
- مِن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- awliyāa
- أَوْلِيَآءَۖ
- (as) protectors
- walahum
- وَلَهُمْ
- And for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- ʿaẓīmun
- عَظِيمٌ
- great
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. (QS. [45] Al-Jathiyah: 10)Tafsir
