Al-Qur'an Surah Ad-Dukhan Verse 33

وَاتَيْنَاهُم مِّنَ الاْايَاتِ

And granted them signs,

means clear proofs and extraordinary evidence.

مَا فِيهِ بَلَاء مُّبِينٌ



in which there was a plain trial.

means, an obvious test to show who would be guided by it
