Ad-Dukhan [44]: 26 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَّزُرُوْعٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيْمٍۙ (الدخان : ٤٤)

wazurūʿin
وَزُرُوعٍ
And cornfields
wamaqāmin
وَمَقَامٍ
and places
karīmin
كَرِيمٍ
noble

Transliteration:

Wa zuroo'inw wa maqaa min kareem (QS. ad-Dukhān:26)

English / Sahih Translation:

And crops and noble sites (QS. Ad-Dukhan, ayah 26)

Tafsir jalalayn

as well as sown fields and many a glorious residence, [many] a splendid court,

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَزُرُوعٍ

How many of gardens and springs that they left behind. And green crops,

this refers to rivers and wells.

وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ



and goodly places,

means, fine dwellings and beautiful places.

Mujahid and Sa`id bin Jubayr said;
وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
(and goodly places),

means elevated places.

وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ
