وَالْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِيْنِۙ ٢
- wal-kitābi
- وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- By the Book
- l-mubīni
- ٱلْمُبِينِ
- the clear
By the clear Book, (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 2)Tafsir
3
اِنَّآ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ فِيْ لَيْلَةٍ مُّبٰرَكَةٍ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِيْنَ ٣
- innā
- إِنَّآ
- Indeed We
- anzalnāhu
- أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
- revealed it
- fī
- فِى
- in
- laylatin
- لَيْلَةٍ
- a Night
- mubārakatin
- مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ
- Blessed
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- [We] are
- mundhirīna
- مُنذِرِينَ
- (ever) warning
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind]. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 3)Tafsir

فِيْهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ اَمْرٍ حَكِيْمٍۙ ٤
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- Therein
- yuf'raqu
- يُفْرَقُ
- is made distinct
- kullu
- كُلُّ
- every
- amrin
- أَمْرٍ
- affair
- ḥakīmin
- حَكِيمٍ
- wise
Therein [i.e., on that night] is made distinct every precise matter – (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 4)Tafsir
5
اَمْرًا مِّنْ عِنْدِنَاۗ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِيْنَۖ ٥
- amran
- أَمْرًا
- A command
- min
- مِّنْ
- from
- ʿindinā
- عِندِنَآۚ
- Us
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- [We] are
- mur'silīna
- مُرْسِلِينَ
- (ever) sending
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger] (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 5)Tafsir
6
رَحْمَةً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُۗ ٦
- raḥmatan
- رَحْمَةً
- As Mercy
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbika
- رَّبِّكَۚ
- your Lord
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- [He]
- l-samīʿu
- ٱلسَّمِيعُ
- (is) the All-Hearer
- l-ʿalīmu
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knower
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing, (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 6)Tafsir
7
رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَاۘ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّوْقِنِيْنَ ٧
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- Lord
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَآۖ
- (is) between both of them
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you
- mūqinīna
- مُّوقِنِينَ
- would be certain
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 7)Tafsir
8
لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُ ۗرَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ اٰبَاۤىِٕكُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ٨
- lā
- لَآ
- (There is) no
- ilāha
- إِلَٰهَ
- god
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- huwa
- هُوَ
- Him;
- yuḥ'yī
- يُحْىِۦ
- He gives life
- wayumītu
- وَيُمِيتُۖ
- and causes death
- rabbukum
- رَبُّكُمْ
- your Lord
- warabbu
- وَرَبُّ
- and (the) Lord
- ābāikumu
- ءَابَآئِكُمُ
- (of) your fathers
- l-awalīna
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- the former
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 8)Tafsir
9
بَلْ هُمْ فِيْ شَكٍّ يَّلْعَبُوْنَ ٩
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- shakkin
- شَكٍّ
- doubt -
- yalʿabūna
- يَلْعَبُونَ
- playing
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves. (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 9)Tafsir
10
فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى السَّمَاۤءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ١٠
- fa-ir'taqib
- فَٱرْتَقِبْ
- Then watch
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (for the) Day
- tatī
- تَأْتِى
- (when) will bring
- l-samāu
- ٱلسَّمَآءُ
- the sky
- bidukhānin
- بِدُخَانٍ
- smoke
- mubīnin
- مُّبِينٍ
- visible
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke (QS. [44] Ad-Dukhan: 10)Tafsir
