Al-Qur'an Surah Az-Zukhruf Verse 86
Az-Zukhruf [43]: 86 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ اِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ (الزخرف : ٤٣)

Transliteration:
Wa laa yamlikul lazeena yad'oona min doonihish shafaa'ata illaa man shahida bilhaqqi wa hum ya'lamoon(QS. az-Zukhruf:86)
English / Sahih Translation:
And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know. (QS. Az-Zukhruf, ayah 86)

And those whom they invoke besides Him have no power to intercede; but those who bear witness to the truth, while they have knowledge (may intercede for the believers with Allah’s permission).

Tafsir jalalayn
And those whom they, the disbelievers, call on, [those whom] they worship, besides Him, that is, besides God, have no power of intercession, for anyone, except those who bear witness to the truth, that is, those who say `there is no god except God', with [full] knowledge, in their hearts of what they have testified to with their tongues -- such are Jesus, Ezra, and the angels, who will intercede for believers.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ
And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power,
means, the idols and false gods.
الشَّفَاعَةَ
of intercession,
means, they are not able to intercede for them.
إِلاَّ مَن شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
except for those who bear witness to the truth knowingly, and they know.
This means, but the one who bears witness to the truth has knowledge and insight, so his intercession with Allah will avail, by His leave.
The Idolators admit that Allah Alone is the Creator
Allah exalted says,
وَلَيِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ فَأَنَّى يُوْفَكُونَ
