Al-Qur'an Surah Az-Zukhruf Verse 76
Az-Zukhruf [43]: 76 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَمَا ظَلَمْنٰهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ (الزخرف : ٤٣)
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- ẓalamnāhum
- ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ
- We wronged them
- walākin
- وَلَٰكِن
- but
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they were
- humu
- هُمُ
- themselves
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- wrongdoers
Transliteration:
Wa maa zalamnaahum wa laakin kaanoo humuz zaalimeen(QS. az-Zukhruf:76)
English / Sahih Translation:
And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers. (QS. Az-Zukhruf, ayah 76)

means, by their committing wrong actions after proof had been established against them and Messengers had been sent to them, but they rejected them and rebelled, so they are to be punished accordingly. And your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) servants
