Al-Qur'an Surah Az-Zukhruf Verse 11
Az-Zukhruf [43]: 11 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَالَّذِيْ نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۢ بِقَدَرٍۚ فَاَنْشَرْنَا بِهٖ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا ۚ كَذٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُوْنَ (الزخرف : ٤٣)

- وَٱلَّذِى
- And the One Who
- nazzala
- نَزَّلَ
- sends down

- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky

- you will be brought forth
Transliteration:
Wallazee nazzala minas samaaa'i maaa'am biqadarin fa anshamaa bihee baldatam maitaa' kazaalika tukhrajoon(QS. az-Zukhruf:11)
English / Sahih Translation:
And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land – thus will you be brought forth – (QS. Az-Zukhruf, ayah 11)

and the One who has sent down water from the sky in due measure. Then We have revived with it a dead town. In the same way, you will be brought forth (alive from the graves),

Tafsir jalalayn
and Who sent down water from the heaven in measure, that is to say, in the measure that you require thereof and did not send it down in a deluge, and We revived with it a dead land. Thus -- like this revivification -- will you be brought forth, from your graves, alive;
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَالَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء بِقَدَرٍ
And Who sends down water from the sky in due measure,
means, according to what is sufficient for your crops, fruits and drinking water for yourselves and your cattle.
فَأَنشَرْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا
then We revive a dead land therewith,
means, a barren land, for when the water comes to it, it is stirred (to life), and it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth).
By referring to the revival of the earth, Allah draws attention to how He will bring bodies back to life on the Day of Resurrection, after they have been dead.
كَذَلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
and even so you will be brought forth.
Then Allah says
