41
فَاِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَاِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُّنْتَقِمُوْنَۙ ٤١
- fa-immā
- فَإِمَّا
- And whether
- nadhhabanna
- نَذْهَبَنَّ
- We take you away
- bika
- بِكَ
- We take you away
- fa-innā
- فَإِنَّا
- then indeed, We
- min'hum
- مِنْهُم
- from them
- muntaqimūna
- مُّنتَقِمُونَ
- (will) take retribution
And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 41)Tafsir
42
اَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِيْ وَعَدْنٰهُمْ فَاِنَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مُّقْتَدِرُوْنَ ٤٢
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- nuriyannaka
- نُرِيَنَّكَ
- We show you
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- that which
- waʿadnāhum
- وَعَدْنَٰهُمْ
- We have promised them
- fa-innā
- فَإِنَّا
- then indeed We
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِم
- over them
- muq'tadirūna
- مُّقْتَدِرُونَ
- have full power
Or whether [or not] We show you that which We have promised them, indeed, We are Perfect in Ability. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 42)Tafsir
43
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِيْٓ اُوْحِيَ اِلَيْكَ ۚاِنَّكَ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ٤٣
- fa-is'tamsik
- فَٱسْتَمْسِكْ
- So hold fast
- bi-alladhī
- بِٱلَّذِىٓ
- to that which
- ūḥiya
- أُوحِىَ
- is revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَۖ
- to you
- innaka
- إِنَّكَ
- Indeed you
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (are) on
- ṣirāṭin
- صِرَٰطٍ
- a Path
- mus'taqīmin
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- Straight
So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 43)Tafsir
44
وَاِنَّهٗ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۚوَسَوْفَ تُسْٔـَلُوْنَ ٤٤
- wa-innahu
- وَإِنَّهُۥ
- And indeed it
- ladhik'run
- لَذِكْرٌ
- (is) surely a Reminder
- laka
- لَّكَ
- for you
- waliqawmika
- وَلِقَوْمِكَۖ
- and your people
- wasawfa
- وَسَوْفَ
- and soon
- tus'alūna
- تُسْـَٔلُونَ
- you will be questioned
And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 44)Tafsir
45
وَسْٔـَلْ مَنْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُّسُلِنَآ ۖ اَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُوْنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ اٰلِهَةً يُّعْبَدُوْنَ ࣖ ٤٥
- wasal
- وَسْـَٔلْ
- And ask
- man
- مَنْ
- (those) whom
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- min
- مِن
- before you
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you
- min
- مِن
- of
- rusulinā
- رُّسُلِنَآ
- Our Messengers
- ajaʿalnā
- أَجَعَلْنَا
- did We make
- min
- مِن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-raḥmāni
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- the Most Gracious
- ālihatan
- ءَالِهَةً
- gods
- yuʿ'badūna
- يُعْبَدُونَ
- to be worshipped?
And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped? (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 45)Tafsir
46
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا مُوْسٰى بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَا۟ىِٕهٖ فَقَالَ اِنِّيْ رَسُوْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٤٦
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
- with Our Signs
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- fir'ʿawna
- فِرْعَوْنَ
- Firaun
- wamala-ihi
- وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ
- and his chiefs
- faqāla
- فَقَالَ
- and he said
- innī
- إِنِّى
- "Indeed I am
- rasūlu
- رَسُولُ
- a Messenger
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- (of the) Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds"
And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds." (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 46)Tafsir
47
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اِذَا هُمْ مِّنْهَا يَضْحَكُوْنَ ٤٧
- falammā
- فَلَمَّا
- But when
- jāahum
- جَآءَهُم
- he came to them
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
- with Our Signs
- idhā
- إِذَا
- behold!
- hum
- هُم
- They
- min'hā
- مِّنْهَا
- at them
- yaḍḥakūna
- يَضْحَكُونَ
- laughed
But when he brought them Our signs, at once they laughed at them. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 47)Tafsir
48
وَمَا نُرِيْهِمْ مِّنْ اٰيَةٍ اِلَّا هِيَ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ اُخْتِهَاۗ وَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ٤٨
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- nurīhim
- نُرِيهِم
- We showed them
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- āyatin
- ءَايَةٍ
- a Sign
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- hiya
- هِىَ
- it
- akbaru
- أَكْبَرُ
- (was) greater
- min
- مِنْ
- than
- ukh'tihā
- أُخْتِهَاۖ
- its sister
- wa-akhadhnāhum
- وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم
- and We seized them
- bil-ʿadhābi
- بِٱلْعَذَابِ
- with the punishment
- laʿallahum
- لَعَلَّهُمْ
- so that they may
- yarjiʿūna
- يَرْجِعُونَ
- return
And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith]. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 48)Tafsir
49
وَقَالُوْا يٰٓاَيُّهَ السّٰحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَۚ اِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُوْنَ ٤٩
- waqālū
- وَقَالُوا۟
- And they said
- yāayyuha
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَ
- "O
- l-sāḥiru
- ٱلسَّاحِرُ
- [the] magician!
- ud'ʿu
- ٱدْعُ
- Invoke
- lanā
- لَنَا
- for us
- rabbaka
- رَبَّكَ
- your Lord
- bimā
- بِمَا
- by what
- ʿahida
- عَهِدَ
- He has made covenant
- ʿindaka
- عِندَكَ
- with you
- innanā
- إِنَّنَا
- Indeed we
- lamuh'tadūna
- لَمُهْتَدُونَ
- (will) surely be guided"
And they said [to Moses], "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided." (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 49)Tafsir
50
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ اِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُوْنَ ٥٠
- falammā
- فَلَمَّا
- But when
- kashafnā
- كَشَفْنَا
- We removed
- ʿanhumu
- عَنْهُمُ
- from them
- l-ʿadhāba
- ٱلْعَذَابَ
- the punishment
- idhā
- إِذَا
- behold!
- hum
- هُمْ
- They
- yankuthūna
- يَنكُثُونَ
- broke (their word)
But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 50)Tafsir
