وَالْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِيْنِ ۙ ٢
- wal-kitābi
- وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- By the Book
- l-mubīni
- ٱلْمُبِينِ
- the clear
By the clear Book, (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 2)Tafsir
3
اِنَّا جَعَلْنٰهُ قُرْاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَۚ ٣
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- jaʿalnāhu
- جَعَلْنَٰهُ
- have made it
- qur'ānan
- قُرْءَٰنًا
- a Quran
- ʿarabiyyan
- عَرَبِيًّا
- (in) Arabic
- laʿallakum
- لَّعَلَّكُمْ
- so that you may
- taʿqilūna
- تَعْقِلُونَ
- understand
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Quran that you might understand. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 3)Tafsir
4
وَاِنَّهٗ فِيْٓ اُمِّ الْكِتٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيْمٌ ۗ ٤
- wa-innahu
- وَإِنَّهُۥ
- And indeed it
- fī
- فِىٓ
- (is) in
- ummi
- أُمِّ
- (the) Mother
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book
- ladaynā
- لَدَيْنَا
- with Us
- laʿaliyyun
- لَعَلِىٌّ
- surely exalted
- ḥakīmun
- حَكِيمٌ
- full of wisdom
And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 4)Tafsir
5
اَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا اَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِيْنَ ٥
- afanaḍribu
- أَفَنَضْرِبُ
- Then should We take away
- ʿankumu
- عَنكُمُ
- from you
- l-dhik'ra
- ٱلذِّكْرَ
- the Reminder
- ṣafḥan
- صَفْحًا
- disregarding (you)
- an
- أَن
- because
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- (are) a people
- mus'rifīna
- مُّسْرِفِينَ
- transgressing?
Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people? (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 5)Tafsir
6
وَكَمْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ نَّبِيٍّ فِى الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ٦
- wakam
- وَكَمْ
- And how many
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- min
- مِن
- of
- nabiyyin
- نَّبِىٍّ
- a Prophet
- fī
- فِى
- among
- l-awalīna
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- the former (people)
And how many a prophet We sent among the former peoples, (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 6)Tafsir
7
وَمَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ نَّبِيٍّ اِلَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ٧
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yatīhim
- يَأْتِيهِم
- came to them
- min
- مِّن
- any
- nabiyyin
- نَّبِىٍّ
- Prophet
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- mock at him
- yastahziūna
- يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
- mock at him
But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 7)Tafsir
8
فَاَهْلَكْنَٓا اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا وَّمَضٰى مَثَلُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ٨
- fa-ahlaknā
- فَأَهْلَكْنَآ
- Then We destroyed
- ashadda
- أَشَدَّ
- stronger
- min'hum
- مِنْهُم
- than them
- baṭshan
- بَطْشًا
- (in) power
- wamaḍā
- وَمَضَىٰ
- and has passed
- mathalu
- مَثَلُ
- (the) example
- l-awalīna
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- (of) the former (people)
And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded. (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 8)Tafsir
9
وَلَىِٕنْ سَاَلْتَهُمْ مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ لَيَقُوْلُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَزِيْزُ الْعَلِيْمُۙ ٩
- wala-in
- وَلَئِن
- And if
- sa-altahum
- سَأَلْتَهُم
- you ask them
- man
- مَّنْ
- "Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth?"
- layaqūlunna
- لَيَقُولُنَّ
- They will surely say
- khalaqahunna
- خَلَقَهُنَّ
- "Has created them
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- the All-Mighty
- l-ʿalīmu
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knower"
And if you should ask them, "Who has created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "They were created by the Exalted in Might, the Knowing," (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 9)Tafsir
10
الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَّجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيْهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ ۚ ١٠
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- The One Who
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- made
- lakumu
- لَكُمُ
- for you
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- the earth
- mahdan
- مَهْدًا
- a bed
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- and made
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- subulan
- سُبُلًا
- roads
- laʿallakum
- لَّعَلَّكُمْ
- so that you may
- tahtadūna
- تَهْتَدُونَ
- be guided
[The one] who has made for you the earth a bed and made for you upon it roads that you might be guided (QS. [43] Az-Zukhruf: 10)Tafsir
