Al-Qur'an Surah Ash-Shuraa Verse 41
Ash-Shuraa [42]: 41 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَلَمَنِ انْتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهٖ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ سَبِيْلٍۗ (الشورى : ٤٢)
- walamani
- وَلَمَنِ
- And surely whosoever
- intaṣara
- ٱنتَصَرَ
- defends himself
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- ẓul'mihi
- ظُلْمِهِۦ
- he has been wronged
- fa-ulāika
- فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- then those
- mā
- مَا
- not
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِم
- (is) against them
- min
- مِّن
- any
- sabīlin
- سَبِيلٍ
- way
Transliteration:
Wa lamanin tasara ba'da zulmihee fa ulaaa'ika maa 'alaihim min sabeel(QS. aš-Šūrā:41)
English / Sahih Translation:
And whoever retaliates after having been wronged – those have not upon them any cause [for blame]. (QS. Ash-Shuraa, ayah 41)

The one who defends himself after having been wronged, there is no blame on such people.

means, there is no sin on him for taking revenge against the one who wronged him
