اَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكٰۤؤُا شَرَعُوْا لَهُمْ مِّنَ الدِّيْنِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَنْۢ بِهِ اللّٰهُ ۗوَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۗوَاِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٢١
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- shurakāu
- شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟
- (are) partners
- sharaʿū
- شَرَعُوا۟
- who have ordained
- lahum
- لَهُم
- for them
- mina
- مِّنَ
- of
- l-dīni
- ٱلدِّينِ
- the religion
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yadhan
- يَأْذَنۢ
- Allah has given permission of it
- bihi
- بِهِ
- Allah has given permission of it
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۚ
- Allah has given permission of it
- walawlā
- وَلَوْلَا
- And if not
- kalimatu
- كَلِمَةُ
- (for) a word
- l-faṣli
- ٱلْفَصْلِ
- decisive
- laquḍiya
- لَقُضِىَ
- surely, it (would have) been judged
- baynahum
- بَيْنَهُمْۗ
- between them
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- the wrongdoers
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is a) punishment
- alīmun
- أَلِيمٌ
- painful
Or have they partners [i.e., other deities] who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 21)Tafsir
تَرَى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ مُشْفِقِيْنَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوْا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ ۗوَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فِيْ رَوْضٰتِ الْجَنّٰتِۚ لَهُمْ مَّا يَشَاۤءُوْنَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيْرُ ٢٢
- tarā
- تَرَى
- You will see
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- the wrongdoers
- mush'fiqīna
- مُشْفِقِينَ
- fearful
- mimmā
- مِمَّا
- of what
- kasabū
- كَسَبُوا۟
- they earned
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and it
- wāqiʿun
- وَاقِعٌۢ
- (will) befall
- bihim
- بِهِمْۗ
- [on] them
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- rawḍāti
- رَوْضَاتِ
- flowering meadows
- l-janāti
- ٱلْجَنَّاتِۖ
- (of) the Gardens
- lahum
- لَهُم
- for them
- mā
- مَّا
- (is) whatever
- yashāūna
- يَشَآءُونَ
- they wish
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- with
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْۚ
- their Lord
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That -
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it
- l-faḍlu
- ٱلْفَضْلُ
- (is) the Bounty
- l-kabīru
- ٱلْكَبِيرُ
- the Great
You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 22)Tafsir
ذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يُبَشِّرُ اللّٰهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۗ قُلْ لَّآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًا اِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِى الْقُرْبٰىۗ وَمَنْ يَّقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهٗ فِيْهَا حُسْنًا ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ ٢٣
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is of) which
- yubashiru
- يُبَشِّرُ
- Allah gives glad tidings
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah gives glad tidings
- ʿibādahu
- عِبَادَهُ
- (to) His slaves
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِۗ
- righteous deeds
- qul
- قُل
- Say
- lā
- لَّآ
- "Not
- asalukum
- أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
- I ask you
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for it
- ajran
- أَجْرًا
- any payment
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- l-mawadata
- ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ
- the love
- fī
- فِى
- among
- l-qur'bā
- ٱلْقُرْبَىٰۗ
- the relatives"
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- yaqtarif
- يَقْتَرِفْ
- earns
- ḥasanatan
- حَسَنَةً
- any good
- nazid
- نَّزِدْ
- We increase
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- ḥus'nan
- حُسْنًاۚ
- good
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ghafūrun
- غَفُورٌ
- (is) Oft-Forgiving
- shakūrun
- شَكُورٌ
- All-Appreciative
It is that of which Allah gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for it [i.e., this message] any payment [but] only good will through [i.e., due to] kinship." And whoever commits a good deed – We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 23)Tafsir
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًاۚ فَاِنْ يَّشَاِ اللّٰهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلٰى قَلْبِكَ ۗوَيَمْحُ اللّٰهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهٖ ۗاِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ٢٤
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- yaqūlūna
- يَقُولُونَ
- (do) they say
- if'tarā
- ٱفْتَرَىٰ
- "He has invented
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- about
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- kadhiban
- كَذِبًاۖ
- a lie?"
- fa-in
- فَإِن
- But if
- yasha-i
- يَشَإِ
- Allah (had) willed
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah (had) willed
- yakhtim
- يَخْتِمْ
- He would seal
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- [over]
- qalbika
- قَلْبِكَۗ
- your heart
- wayamḥu
- وَيَمْحُ
- And Allah eliminates
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- And Allah eliminates
- l-bāṭila
- ٱلْبَٰطِلَ
- the falsehood
- wayuḥiqqu
- وَيُحِقُّ
- and establishes
- l-ḥaqa
- ٱلْحَقَّ
- the truth
- bikalimātihi
- بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
- by His Words
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed, He
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌۢ
- (is) All-Knowing
- bidhāti
- بِذَاتِ
- of what
- l-ṣudūri
- ٱلصُّدُورِ
- (is in) the breasts
Or do they say, "He has invented about Allah a lie"? But if Allah willed, He could seal over your heart. And Allah eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 24)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَعْفُوْا عَنِ السَّيِّاٰتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُوْنَۙ ٢٥
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- yaqbalu
- يَقْبَلُ
- accepts
- l-tawbata
- ٱلتَّوْبَةَ
- the repentance
- ʿan
- عَنْ
- of
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِۦ
- His slaves
- wayaʿfū
- وَيَعْفُوا۟
- and pardons
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- [of]
- l-sayiāti
- ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
- the evil
- wayaʿlamu
- وَيَعْلَمُ
- and He knows
- mā
- مَا
- what
- tafʿalūna
- تَفْعَلُونَ
- you do
And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 25)Tafsir
وَيَسْتَجِيْبُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَيَزِيْدُهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ ۗوَالْكٰفِرُوْنَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ ٢٦
- wayastajību
- وَيَسْتَجِيبُ
- And He answers
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- wayazīduhum
- وَيَزِيدُهُم
- and increases (for) them
- min
- مِّن
- from
- faḍlihi
- فَضْلِهِۦۚ
- His Bounty
- wal-kāfirūna
- وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
- And the disbelievers -
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (will be) a punishment
- shadīdun
- شَدِيدٌ
- severe
And He answers [the supplication of] those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 26)Tafsir
۞ وَلَوْ بَسَطَ اللّٰهُ الرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهٖ لَبَغَوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلٰكِنْ يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَاۤءُ ۗاِنَّهٗ بِعِبَادِهٖ خَبِيْرٌۢ بَصِيْرٌ ٢٧
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- basaṭa
- بَسَطَ
- Allah extends
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah extends
- l-riz'qa
- ٱلرِّزْقَ
- the provision
- liʿibādihi
- لِعِبَادِهِۦ
- for His slaves
- labaghaw
- لَبَغَوْا۟
- surely they would rebel
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- walākin
- وَلَٰكِن
- but
- yunazzilu
- يُنَزِّلُ
- He sends down
- biqadarin
- بِقَدَرٍ
- in (due) measure
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُۚ
- He wills
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed, He
- biʿibādihi
- بِعِبَادِهِۦ
- of His slaves
- khabīrun
- خَبِيرٌۢ
- (is) All-Aware
- baṣīrun
- بَصِيرٌ
- All-Seer
And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Aware and Seeing. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 27)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوْا وَيَنْشُرُ رَحْمَتَهٗ ۗوَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيْدُ ٢٨
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- yunazzilu
- يُنَزِّلُ
- sends down
- l-ghaytha
- ٱلْغَيْثَ
- the rain
- min
- مِنۢ
- after
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- mā
- مَا
- [what]
- qanaṭū
- قَنَطُوا۟
- they have despaired
- wayanshuru
- وَيَنشُرُ
- and spreads
- raḥmatahu
- رَحْمَتَهُۥۚ
- His mercy
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- l-waliyu
- ٱلْوَلِىُّ
- (is) the Protector
- l-ḥamīdu
- ٱلْحَمِيدُ
- the Praiseworthy
And it is He who sends down the rain after they had despaired and spreads His mercy. And He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 28)Tafsir
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖ خَلْقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيْهِمَا مِنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ ۗوَهُوَ عَلٰى جَمْعِهِمْ اِذَا يَشَاۤءُ قَدِيْرٌ ࣖ ٢٩
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- And among
- āyātihi
- ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
- His Signs
- khalqu
- خَلْقُ
- (is the) creation
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- batha
- بَثَّ
- He has dispersed
- fīhimā
- فِيهِمَا
- in both of them
- min
- مِن
- of
- dābbatin
- دَآبَّةٍۚ
- (the) creatures
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) over
- jamʿihim
- جَمْعِهِمْ
- their gathering
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- qadīrun
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful
And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 29)Tafsir
وَمَآ اَصَابَكُمْ مِّنْ مُّصِيْبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ اَيْدِيْكُمْ وَيَعْفُوْا عَنْ كَثِيْرٍۗ ٣٠
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And whatever
- aṣābakum
- أَصَٰبَكُم
- befalls you
- min
- مِّن
- of
- muṣībatin
- مُّصِيبَةٍ
- (the) misfortune
- fabimā
- فَبِمَا
- (is because) of what
- kasabat
- كَسَبَتْ
- have earned
- aydīkum
- أَيْدِيكُمْ
- your hands
- wayaʿfū
- وَيَعْفُوا۟
- But He pardons
- ʿan
- عَن
- [from]
- kathīrin
- كَثِيرٍ
- much
And whatever strikes you of disaster – it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. (QS. [42] Ash-Shuraa: 30)Tafsir
