اِنَّا لَنَنْصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُوْمُ الْاَشْهَادُۙ ٥١
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- lananṣuru
- لَنَنصُرُ
- We will surely help
- rusulanā
- رُسُلَنَا
- Our Messengers
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ḥayati
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- wayawma
- وَيَوْمَ
- and (on the) Day
- yaqūmu
- يَقُومُ
- (when) will stand
- l-ashhādu
- ٱلْأَشْهَٰدُ
- the witnesses
Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand – (QS. [40] Ghafir: 51)Tafsir
يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوْۤءُ الدَّارِ ٥٢
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (The) Day
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yanfaʿu
- يَنفَعُ
- will benefit
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- the wrongdoers
- maʿdhiratuhum
- مَعْذِرَتُهُمْۖ
- their excuse
- walahumu
- وَلَهُمُ
- and for them
- l-laʿnatu
- ٱللَّعْنَةُ
- (is) the curse
- walahum
- وَلَهُمْ
- and for them
- sūu
- سُوٓءُ
- (is the) worst
- l-dāri
- ٱلدَّارِ
- home
The Day their excuse will not benefit the wrongdoers, and they will have the curse, and they will have the worst home [i.e., Hell]. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 52)Tafsir
وَلَقَدْاٰتَيْنَا مُوْسٰى الْهُدٰى وَاَوْرَثْنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ الْكِتٰبَۙ ٥٣
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And certainly
- ātaynā
- ءَاتَيْنَا
- We gave
- mūsā
- مُوسَى
- Musa
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰ
- the guidance
- wa-awrathnā
- وَأَوْرَثْنَا
- and We caused to inherit
- banī
- بَنِىٓ
- (the) Children of Israel
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (the) Children of Israel
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture (QS. [40] Ghafir: 53)Tafsir
هُدًى وَّذِكْرٰى لِاُولِى الْاَلْبَابِ ٥٤
- hudan
- هُدًى
- A guide
- wadhik'rā
- وَذِكْرَىٰ
- and a reminder
- li-ulī
- لِأُو۟لِى
- for those
- l-albābi
- ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
- (of) understanding
As guidance and a reminder for those of understanding. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 54)Tafsir
فَاصْبِرْ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ وَّاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْاِبْكَارِ ٥٥
- fa-iṣ'bir
- فَٱصْبِرْ
- So be patient
- inna
- إِنَّ
- indeed
- waʿda
- وَعْدَ
- (the) Promise of Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (the) Promise of Allah
- ḥaqqun
- حَقٌّ
- (is) true
- wa-is'taghfir
- وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ
- And ask forgiveness
- lidhanbika
- لِذَنۢبِكَ
- for your sin
- wasabbiḥ
- وَسَبِّحْ
- and glorify
- biḥamdi
- بِحَمْدِ
- (the) praise
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- bil-ʿashiyi
- بِٱلْعَشِىِّ
- in the evening
- wal-ib'kāri
- وَٱلْإِبْكَٰرِ
- and the morning
So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 55)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُجَادِلُوْنَ فِيْٓ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطٰنٍ اَتٰىهُمْ ۙاِنْ فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمْ اِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُمْ بِبَالِغِيْهِۚ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْبَصِيْرُ ٥٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yujādilūna
- يُجَٰدِلُونَ
- dispute
- fī
- فِىٓ
- concerning
- āyāti
- ءَايَٰتِ
- (the) Signs
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- bighayri
- بِغَيْرِ
- without
- sul'ṭānin
- سُلْطَٰنٍ
- any authority
- atāhum
- أَتَىٰهُمْۙ
- (which) came to them
- in
- إِن
- not
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- ṣudūrihim
- صُدُورِهِمْ
- their breasts
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- kib'run
- كِبْرٌ
- greatness
- mā
- مَّا
- not
- hum
- هُم
- they
- bibālighīhi
- بِبَٰلِغِيهِۚ
- (can) reach it
- fa-is'taʿidh
- فَٱسْتَعِذْ
- So seek refuge
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِۖ
- in Allah
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- l-samīʿu
- ٱلسَّمِيعُ
- (is) the All-Hearer
- l-baṣīru
- ٱلْبَصِيرُ
- the All-Seer
Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] evidence having come to them – there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 56)Tafsir
لَخَلْقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٥٧
- lakhalqu
- لَخَلْقُ
- Surely (the) creation
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- akbaru
- أَكْبَرُ
- (is) greater
- min
- مِنْ
- than
- khalqi
- خَلْقِ
- (the) creation
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the mankind
- walākinna
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- akthara
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know
The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 57)Tafsir
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى الْاَعْمٰى وَالْبَصِيْرُ ەۙ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَلَا الْمُسِيْۤئُ ۗقَلِيْلًا مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ ٥٨
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yastawī
- يَسْتَوِى
- are equal
- l-aʿmā
- ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
- the blind
- wal-baṣīru
- وَٱلْبَصِيرُ
- and the seeing
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- l-musīu
- ٱلْمُسِىٓءُۚ
- the evildoer
- qalīlan
- قَلِيلًا
- Little
- mā
- مَّا
- (is) what
- tatadhakkarūna
- تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
- you take heed
And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 58)Tafsir
اِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَاٰتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهَا ۖوَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٥٩
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-sāʿata
- ٱلسَّاعَةَ
- the Hour
- laātiyatun
- لَءَاتِيَةٌ
- (is) surely coming
- lā
- لَّا
- no
- rayba
- رَيْبَ
- doubt
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- walākinna
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- akthara
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
Indeed, the Hour is coming – no doubt about it – but most of the people do not believe. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 59)Tafsir
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُوْنِيْٓ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۗاِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِيْ سَيَدْخُلُوْنَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِيْنَ ࣖࣖࣖ ٦٠
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- And said
- rabbukumu
- رَبُّكُمُ
- your Lord
- id'ʿūnī
- ٱدْعُونِىٓ
- "Call upon Me;
- astajib
- أَسْتَجِبْ
- I will respond
- lakum
- لَكُمْۚ
- to you
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yastakbirūna
- يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
- (are too) proud
- ʿan
- عَنْ
- to
- ʿibādatī
- عِبَادَتِى
- worship Me
- sayadkhulūna
- سَيَدْخُلُونَ
- will enter
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell
- dākhirīna
- دَاخِرِينَ
- (in) humiliation"
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible. (QS. [40] Ghafir: 60)Tafsir
