Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nisa Verse 70
An-Nisa [4]: 70 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
ذٰلِكَ الْفَضْلُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ۗوَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ عَلِيْمًا ࣖ (النساء : ٤)

- (is) the Bounty

- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ

- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- and sufficient
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ

- ʿalīman
- عَلِيمًا
- (as) All-Knower
Transliteration:
Zaalikal fadlu minal laah; wa kafaa billaahi 'Aleemaa(QS. an-Nisāʾ:70)
English / Sahih Translation:
That is the bounty from Allah, and sufficient is Allah as Knower. (QS. An-Nisa, ayah 70)
Mufti Taqi Usmani
That grace is from Allah; and Allah is sufficient as being the One who knows.

Tafsir jalalayn
That, namely, their being with those mentioned (dhlika, `that', is the subject, the predicate of which is [the following]) is bounty from God, with which He has favoured them, and not because they have earned it through their obedience. God suffices as Knower, of the reward of the Hereafter, in other words, trust in what He has told you; None can tell you like One Who is aware [Q. 35;14].
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
ذَلِكَ الْفَضْلُ مِنَ اللّهِ
Such is the bounty from Allah,
meaning, from Allah by His mercy, for it is He who made them suitable for this, not their good deeds.
وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ عَلِيمًا
and Allah is sufficient as All-Knower,
He knows those who deserve guidance and success
