Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nisa Verse 174
An-Nisa [4]: 174 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ بُرْهَانٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَاَنْزَلْنَآ اِلَيْكُمْ نُوْرًا مُّبِيْنًا (النساء : ٤)

- mankind!

- قَدْ
- Surely
- jāakum
- جَآءَكُم
- has come to you
- bur'hānun
- بُرْهَٰنٌ
- a convincing proof

- rabbikum
- رَّبِّكُمْ
- your Lord
- wa-anzalnā
- وَأَنزَلْنَآ
- and We (have) sent down
- ilaykum
- إِلَيْكُمْ
- to you
- nūran
- نُورًا
- a light

- مُّبِينًا
- clear
Transliteration:
yaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akum burhaanum mir Rabbikum wa anzalnaaa ilaikum Nooram Mubeena(QS. an-Nisāʾ:174)
English / Sahih Translation:
O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light. (QS. An-Nisa, ayah 174)

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
The Description of the Revelation that Came From Allah
Allah says;
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءكُم بُرْهَانٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ
O mankind! Verily, there has come to you a convincing proof from your Lord;
Allah informs all people that a plain, unequivocal proof has come to them from Him. One that eradicates all possibility of having an excuse, or falling prey to evil doubts.
Allah said,
وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُّبِينًا
and We sent down to you a manifest light.
that directs to the Truth.
Ibn Jurayj and others said,
"It is the Qur'an.
