Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nisa Verse 152

Mufti Taqi Usmani

Those who have believed in Allah and His Messengers, and have made no division between any of them, to them He will give their rewards. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.

(On the other hand) those who believe in Allâh and (all of) His Messengers and (while believing) make no distinction between any of them, it is to these whom He will soon give their rewards. Indeed, Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful.

English Literal

And those who believed with God and His messengers, and they did not separate/distinguish/differentiate between anyone from them, those (God) will give them their rewards , and God was/is a forgiving, merciful.63

Tafsir jalalayn

And those who believe in God and, all of, His messengers and do not seek to divide between any of them, those -- We shall surely give them (nu'thim, also read yu'thim, `He shall surely give them') their wages, the reward for their deeds. God is ever Forgiving, to His friends, Merciful, to those who obey Him.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَالَّذِينَ امَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ

And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and make no distinction between any of them,

This refers to the Ummah of Muhammad who believe in every Book that Allah has revealed and in every Prophet whom Allah has sent. Allah said,

ءَامَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَأ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُوْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِاللَّهِ

The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. All of them believe in Allah. (2;285)

Allah then states that He has prepared great rewards for them, tremendous favor and a handsome bounty,

أُوْلَـيِكَ سَوْفَ يُوْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ

We shall give them their rewards;

because of their faith in Allah and His Messengers.

وَكَانَ اللّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا



and Allah is Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful.
