Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nisa Verse 112

An-Nisa [4]: 112 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَمَنْ يَّكْسِبْ خَطِيْۤـَٔةً اَوْ اِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهٖ بَرِيْۤـًٔا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتَانًا وَّاِثْمًا مُّبِيْنًا ࣖ (النساء : ٤)

خَطِيٓـَٔةً
a fault

أَوْ

إِثْمًا
a sin

ثُمَّ

(on) an innocent

(with) a slander
wa-ith'man
وَإِثْمًا
and a sin
mubīnan
مُّبِينًا
manifest

Transliteration:

Wa mai yaksib khateee'atan aw isman summa yarmi bihee bareee'an faqadih tamala buhtaananw wa ismam mubeenaa (QS. an-Nisāʾ:112)

English / Sahih Translation:

But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin. (QS. An-Nisa, ayah 112)

Whoever commits a vice or a sin, then shifts its blame to an innocent person, he indeed takes the burden of a false imputation and a glaring sin.

And who acquires/carries a sin or a sin/crime , then he blames and accuses an innocent, so he had carried wrongfully/slanderfully and an evident sin/crime .
