Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 7
As-Saffat [37]: 7 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَحِفْظًا مِّنْ كُلِّ شَيْطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍۚ (الصافات : ٣٧)

- And (to) guard

Transliteration:
Wa hifzam min kulli Shaitaanim maarid(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:7)
English / Sahih Translation:
And as protection against every rebellious devil (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 7)

and to guard (wa-hifzan is in the accusative because of an implied verb) that is to say, `We have guarded it with meteors', from every (min kulli is semantically connected to the implied verb) any rebellious devil, who is a transgressor, in rebellion against obedience.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَحِفْظًا
And to guard,
meaning, to protect as it should be protected,
مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ
against every rebellious Shaytan.
means, every insolent and impudent devil, when he wants to eavesdrop (on news in the heavens), a piercing fire comes and burns him.
