Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 65
As-Saffat [37]: 65 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
طَلْعُهَا كَاَنَّهٗ رُءُوْسُ الشَّيٰطِيْنِ (الصافات : ٣٧)

- كَأَنَّهُۥ
- (is) as if it
- ruūsu
- رُءُوسُ
- (was) heads
- l-shayāṭīni
- ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
- (of) the devils
Transliteration:
Tal'uhaa ka annahoo ru'oosush Shayaateen(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:65)
English / Sahih Translation:
Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 65)

this is a description of how ugly and repulsive it is. It is likened to
رُوُوسُ الشَّيَاطِين
(the heads of Shayatin), even though they have never seen them, because it is a well-established idea in people's minds that devils are ugly in appearance.
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَاإكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِوُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ
