Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 51
As-Saffat [37]: 51 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَ قَاۤىِٕلٌ مِّنْهُمْ اِنِّيْ كَانَ لِيْ قَرِيْنٌۙ (الصافات : ٣٧)

Transliteration:
Qaala qaaa'ilum minhum innee kaana lee qareen(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:51)
English / Sahih Translation:
A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]. (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 51)

Al-`Awfi reported that Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him said,
"This refers to an idolator man who had a companion among the believers in this world."
يَقُولُ أَيِنَّكَ لَمِنْ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ
