Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 50
As-Saffat [37]: 50 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ يَّتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ (الصافات : ٣٧)
- fa-aqbala
- فَأَقْبَلَ
- And (will) approach
- baʿḍuhum
- بَعْضُهُمْ
- some of them
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- to
- baʿḍin
- بَعْضٍ
- others
- yatasāalūna
- يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
- questioning one another
Transliteration:
Fa aqbala ba'duhum 'alaa badiny yatasaaa 'aloon(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:50)
English / Sahih Translation:
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 50)

Tafsir jalalayn
Some of them, some of the inhabitants of Paradise, will turn to others, questioning each other, regarding what they experienced in the [life of the] world.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
The gathering of the People of Paradise, and the exchange between One of Them and His Counterpart in Hell, and His Gratitude for the Blessings of Allah
Allah says here;
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning.
Allah tells us how the people of Paradise will turn to one another, asking one another about their situation, how they were in this world and what they suffered. This is part of their conversation when they get together to converse and drink, sitting on their thrones, servants coming and going, bringing all kinds of good food, drink, clothes and other delights no eye has seen, no ear has heard, never having comprehend the mind of man.
قَالَ قَايِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
