Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 166
As-Saffat [37]: 166 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَاِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُوْنَ (الصافات : ٣٧)
- wa-innā
- وَإِنَّا
- And indeed we
- lanaḥnu
- لَنَحْنُ
- surely [we]
- l-musabiḥūna
- ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ
- glorify (Allah)"
Transliteration:
Wa innaa lanah nul musabbihoon(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:166)
English / Sahih Translation:
And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 166)

and We, surely We, are those who proclaim Allah’s purity.”

Tafsir jalalayn
And indeed it is we who give glory, [it is we] who declare that God transcends what does not befit Him.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
And verily, we indeed are those who glorify.
means, `we stand in rows and glorify the Lord, praising Him, sanctifying Him and declaring Him to be above any faults or shortcomings. We are servants of Him and in need of Him, humbling ourselves before Him.'
The Quraysh wished that They could have a Reminder as had the Men of old
Allah says,
وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ
