Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 151
As-Saffat [37]: 151 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اَلَآ اِنَّهُمْ مِّنْ اِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُوْلُوْنَۙ (الصافات : ٣٧)
- alā
- أَلَآ
- No doubt
- innahum
- إِنَّهُم
- indeed they
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- if'kihim
- إِفْكِهِمْ
- their falsehood
- layaqūlūna
- لَيَقُولُونَ
- [they] say
Transliteration:
Alaaa innahum min ifkihim la yaqooloon(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:151)
English / Sahih Translation:
Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 151)

Beware! They are the ones who, by way of a lie of theirs, (have the audacity to) say,

Indeed, it is one of their ˹outrageous˺ fabrications to say,

Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say:

Is it not a lie invented by them when they say:

Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. –

Be aware that it is out of their mendacity that they say,
Ali Ünal
Beware, it is surely one of their fabrications that they say,
Amatul Rahman Omar
Beware! it is (one) of their fabrications that they say,

Is (it) not that they truly are from their lies/falsehood, they say (E):

Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. –

Verily, it is of their own lies that they say,

Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say:

Or did We create the angels females, while they witnessed?

It is only because of their false invention that they say,

Then is it of their lying that they say:
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
Verily, it is of their falsehood that they say:
Wahiduddin Khan
No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say:
Talal Itani
No indeed! It is one of their lies when they say.
Tafsir jalalayn
Lo! it is indeed out of their [own] mendacity, their [own] lies, that they say,
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
أَلَا إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ
Verily, it is of their falsehood,
means, it is a part of the lies they tell.
