Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 143

Surah (As-Saffat)

As-Saffat [37]: 143 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَلَوْلَآ اَنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِيْنَ ۙ (الصافات : ٣٧)

falawlā
فَلَوْلَآ: And if not

annahu
أَنَّهُۥ: that he

kāna
كَانَ: was

mina
مِنَ: of

l-musabiḥīna
ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ: those who glorify

Transliteration:

Falaw laaa annahoo kaana minal musabbiheen (QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:143)

English / Sahih Translation:

And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 143)

Had he not been of those who proclaim Allah’s purity,

Had he not ˹constantly˺ glorified ˹Allah˺,[[ Before being swallowed and while inside the whale (see {21:87}). The lesson is: good deeds are of great help during difficult times. ]]

Were it not for the fact that he was one of those who glorify Allah,
