Al-Qur'an Surah As-Saffat Verse 106
As-Saffat [37]: 106 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلٰۤؤُا الْمُبِيْنُ (الصافات : ٣٧)
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- lahuwa
- لَهُوَ
- was surely
- l-balāu
- ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟
- the trial
- l-mubīnu
- ٱلْمُبِينُ
- clear
Transliteration:
Inna haazaa lahuwal balaaa'ul mubeen(QS. aṣ-Ṣāffāt:106)
English / Sahih Translation:
Indeed, this was the clear trial. (QS. As-Saffat, ayah 106)

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.
meaning, it was clearly a test when he was commanded to sacrifice his son, so, he hastened to do it, in submission to the command of Allah and in obedience to Him.
Allah said;
وَإِبْرَهِيمَ الَّذِى وَفَّى
And of Ibrahim who fulfilled all that. (53;37)
and,
وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
