        اِنَّهٗ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٨١
- innahu
 - إِنَّهُۥ
 - Indeed he

- ʿibādinā
 - عِبَادِنَا
 - Our slaves
 
- l-mu'minīna
 - ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
 - believing
 
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 81)Tafsir

        ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا الْاٰخَرِيْنَ ٨٢
- thumma
 - ثُمَّ
 - Then
 
- aghraqnā
 - أَغْرَقْنَا
 - We drowned
 
- l-ākharīna
 - ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
 - the others
 
Then We drowned the others [i.e., disbelievers]. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 82)Tafsir

        وَاِنَّ مِنْ شِيْعَتِهٖ لَاِبْرٰهِيْمَ ۘ ٨٣
- wa-inna
 - وَإِنَّ
 - And indeed
 
- min
 - مِن
 - among
 
- shīʿatihi
 - شِيعَتِهِۦ
 - his kind
 
- la-ib'rāhīma
 - لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
 - (was) surely Ibrahim
 
And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 83)Tafsir

        اِذْ جَاۤءَ رَبَّهٗ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيْمٍۙ ٨٤

 - إِذْ
 - When
 
- jāa
 - جَآءَ
 - he came
 
- rabbahu
 - رَبَّهُۥ
 - (to) his Lord
 
- biqalbin
 - بِقَلْبٍ
 - with a heart
 
- salīmin
 - سَلِيمٍ
 - sound
 
When he came to his Lord with a sound heart (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 84)Tafsir
            85
        
        اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ ۚ ٨٥

 - إِذْ
 - When

 - قَالَ
 - he said
 
- li-abīhi
 - لِأَبِيهِ
 - to his father
 
- waqawmihi
 - وَقَوْمِهِۦ
 - and his people
 
- mādhā
 - مَاذَا
 - "What is it
 
- taʿbudūna
 - تَعْبُدُونَ
 - you worship?
 
[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 85)Tafsir
            86
        
        اَىِٕفْكًا اٰلِهَةً دُوْنَ اللّٰهِ تُرِيْدُوْنَۗ ٨٦
- a-if'kan
 - أَئِفْكًا
 - Is it falsehood -
 
- ālihatan
 - ءَالِهَةً
 - gods
 
- dūna
 - دُونَ
 - other than
 
- l-lahi
 - ٱللَّهِ
 - Allah -
 
- turīdūna
 - تُرِيدُونَ
 - (that) you desire?
 
Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 86)Tafsir
            87
        
        فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨٧
- famā
 - فَمَا
 - Then what
 
- ẓannukum
 - ظَنُّكُم
 - (do) you think
 
- birabbi
 - بِرَبِّ
 - about (the) Lord
 
- l-ʿālamīna
 - ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
 - (of) the worlds?"
 
Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 87)Tafsir

        فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِى النُّجُوْمِۙ ٨٨
- fanaẓara
 - فَنَظَرَ
 - Then he glanced
 
- naẓratan
 - نَظْرَةً
 - a glance
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - at
 
- l-nujūmi
 - ٱلنُّجُومِ
 - the stars
 
And he cast a look at the stars. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 88)Tafsir
            89
        
        فَقَالَ اِنِّيْ سَقِيْمٌ ٨٩
- faqāla
 - فَقَالَ
 - And he said
 
- innī
 - إِنِّى
 - "Indeed I am
 
- saqīmun
 - سَقِيمٌ
 - sick"
 
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 89)Tafsir

        فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِيْنَ ٩٠
- fatawallaw
 - فَتَوَلَّوْا۟
 - So they turned away

 - from him

 - مُدْبِرِينَ
 - departing
 
So they turned away from him, departing. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 90)Tafsir
