لِمِثْلِ هٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعٰمِلُوْنَ ٦١
- limith'li
- لِمِثْلِ
- For (the) like
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- (of) this
- falyaʿmali
- فَلْيَعْمَلِ
- let work
- l-ʿāmilūna
- ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ
- the workers
For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 61)Tafsir
62
اَذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُّزُلًا اَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّوْمِ ٦٢
- adhālika
- أَذَٰلِكَ
- Is that
- khayrun
- خَيْرٌ
- better
- nuzulan
- نُّزُلًا
- (as) hospitality
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- shajaratu
- شَجَرَةُ
- (the) tree
- l-zaqūmi
- ٱلزَّقُّومِ
- (of) Zaqqum?
Is that [i.e., Paradise] a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 62)Tafsir
63
اِنَّا جَعَلْنٰهَا فِتْنَةً لِّلظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٦٣
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- jaʿalnāhā
- جَعَلْنَٰهَا
- [We] have made it
- fit'natan
- فِتْنَةً
- a trial
- lilẓẓālimīna
- لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- for the wrongdoers
Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 63)Tafsir
64
اِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِيْٓ اَصْلِ الْجَحِيْمِۙ ٦٤
- innahā
- إِنَّهَا
- Indeed it
- shajaratun
- شَجَرَةٌ
- (is) a tree
- takhruju
- تَخْرُجُ
- that grows
- fī
- فِىٓ
- in
- aṣli
- أَصْلِ
- (the) bottom
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- (of) the Hellfire
Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 64)Tafsir
65
طَلْعُهَا كَاَنَّهٗ رُءُوْسُ الشَّيٰطِيْنِ ٦٥
- ṭalʿuhā
- طَلْعُهَا
- Its emerging fruit
- ka-annahu
- كَأَنَّهُۥ
- (is) as if it
- ruūsu
- رُءُوسُ
- (was) heads
- l-shayāṭīni
- ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
- (of) the devils
Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 65)Tafsir
66
فَاِنَّهُمْ لَاٰكِلُوْنَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔوْنَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُوْنَۗ ٦٦
- fa-innahum
- فَإِنَّهُمْ
- And indeed they
- laākilūna
- لَءَاكِلُونَ
- (will) surely eat
- min'hā
- مِنْهَا
- from it
- famāliūna
- فَمَالِـُٔونَ
- and fill
- min'hā
- مِنْهَا
- with it
- l-buṭūna
- ٱلْبُطُونَ
- (their) bellies
And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 66)Tafsir
67
ثُمَّ اِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِّنْ حَمِيْمٍۚ ٦٧
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- inna
- إِنَّ
- indeed
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿalayhā
- عَلَيْهَا
- in it
- lashawban
- لَشَوْبًا
- (is) a mixture
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- ḥamīmin
- حَمِيمٍ
- boiling water
Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 67)Tafsir
68
ثُمَّ اِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَاِلَى الْجَحِيْمِ ٦٨
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- inna
- إِنَّ
- indeed
- marjiʿahum
- مَرْجِعَهُمْ
- their return
- la-ilā
- لَإِلَى
- (will) surely be to
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- the Hellfire
Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 68)Tafsir
69
اِنَّهُمْ اَلْفَوْا اٰبَاۤءَهُمْ ضَاۤلِّيْنَۙ ٦٩
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- alfaw
- أَلْفَوْا۟
- found
- ābāahum
- ءَابَآءَهُمْ
- their fathers
- ḍāllīna
- ضَآلِّينَ
- astray
Indeed they found their fathers astray. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 69)Tafsir
70
فَهُمْ عَلٰٓى اٰثٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُوْنَ ٧٠
- fahum
- فَهُمْ
- So they
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰٓ
- on
- āthārihim
- ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ
- their footsteps
- yuh'raʿūna
- يُهْرَعُونَ
- they hastened
So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 70)Tafsir
