هٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ ࣖ ٢١
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- "This
- yawmu
- يَوْمُ
- (is the) Day
- l-faṣli
- ٱلْفَصْلِ
- (of) Judgment
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- kuntum
- كُنتُم
- you used to
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- [of it]
- tukadhibūna
- تُكَذِّبُونَ
- deny"
[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 21)Tafsir
22
اُحْشُرُوا الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا وَاَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا يَعْبُدُوْنَ ۙ ٢٢
- uḥ'shurū
- ٱحْشُرُوا۟
- Gather
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ẓalamū
- ظَلَمُوا۟
- wronged
- wa-azwājahum
- وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ
- and their kinds
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yaʿbudūna
- يَعْبُدُونَ
- worship
[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 22)Tafsir
23
مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ فَاهْدُوْهُمْ اِلٰى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيْمِ ٢٣
- min
- مِن
- Besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- Besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- fa-ih'dūhum
- فَٱهْدُوهُمْ
- then lead them
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- ṣirāṭi
- صِرَٰطِ
- (the) Path
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- (of) the Hellfire
Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 23)Tafsir
24
وَقِفُوْهُمْ اِنَّهُمْ مَّسْـُٔوْلُوْنَ ۙ ٢٤
- waqifūhum
- وَقِفُوهُمْۖ
- And stop them;
- innahum
- إِنَّهُم
- indeed they
- masūlūna
- مَّسْـُٔولُونَ
- (are) to be questioned"
And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 24)Tafsir
25
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُوْنَ ٢٥
- mā
- مَا
- "What
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- (is) for you?
- lā
- لَا
- (Why) not
- tanāṣarūna
- تَنَاصَرُونَ
- you help one another?"
[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 25)Tafsir
26
بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُوْنَ ٢٦
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- humu
- هُمُ
- they
- l-yawma
- ٱلْيَوْمَ
- (on) that Day
- mus'taslimūna
- مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
- (will) surrender
But they, that Day, are in surrender. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 26)Tafsir
27
وَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ يَّتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ ٢٧
- wa-aqbala
- وَأَقْبَلَ
- And will approach
- baʿḍuhum
- بَعْضُهُمْ
- some of them
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- to
- baʿḍin
- بَعْضٍ
- others
- yatasāalūna
- يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
- questioning one another
And they will approach one another asking [i.e., blaming] each other. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 27)Tafsir
28
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَأْتُوْنَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِيْنِ ٢٨
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- They will say
- innakum
- إِنَّكُمْ
- "Indeed you
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- [you] used (to)
- tatūnanā
- تَأْتُونَنَا
- come (to) us
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- from
- l-yamīni
- ٱلْيَمِينِ
- the right"
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 28)Tafsir
29
قَالُوْا بَلْ لَّمْ تَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَۚ ٢٩
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They will say
- bal
- بَل
- "Nay
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- takūnū
- تَكُونُوا۟
- you were
- mu'minīna
- مُؤْمِنِينَ
- believers
They [i.e., the oppressors] will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 29)Tafsir
30
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍۚ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طٰغِيْنَ ٣٠
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- was
- lanā
- لَنَا
- for us
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُم
- over you
- min
- مِّن
- any
- sul'ṭānin
- سُلْطَٰنٍۭۖ
- authority
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you were
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- a people
- ṭāghīna
- طَٰغِينَ
- transgressing
And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 30)Tafsir
