171
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٧١
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And verily
- sabaqat
- سَبَقَتْ
- has preceded
- kalimatunā
- كَلِمَتُنَا
- Our Word
- liʿibādinā
- لِعِبَادِنَا
- for Our slaves
- l-mur'salīna
- ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
- the Messengers
And Our word [i.e., decree] has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 171)Tafsir
172
اِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُوْرُوْنَۖ ١٧٢
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- surely they
- l-manṣūrūna
- ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ
- (would be) the victorious
[That] indeed, they would be those given victory (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 172)Tafsir
173
وَاِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغٰلِبُوْنَ ١٧٣
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- jundanā
- جُندَنَا
- Our host
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- surely they
- l-ghālibūna
- ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
- (will be) those who overcome
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers [i.e., the believers] will be those who overcome. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 173)Tafsir
174
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتّٰى حِيْنٍۙ ١٧٤
- fatawalla
- فَتَوَلَّ
- So turn away
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُمْ
- from them
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- for
- ḥīnin
- حِينٍ
- a time
So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 174)Tafsir
175
وَّاَبْصِرْهُمْۗ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٧٥
- wa-abṣir'hum
- وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ
- And see them
- fasawfa
- فَسَوْفَ
- so soon
- yub'ṣirūna
- يُبْصِرُونَ
- they will see
And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 175)Tafsir
176
اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ ١٧٦
- afabiʿadhābinā
- أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا
- Then is (it) for Our punishment
- yastaʿjilūna
- يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
- they hasten?
Then for Our punishment are they impatient? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 176)Tafsir
177
فَاِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاۤءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِيْنَ ١٧٧
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- But when
- nazala
- نَزَلَ
- it descends
- bisāḥatihim
- بِسَاحَتِهِمْ
- in their territory
- fasāa
- فَسَآءَ
- then evil (will be)
- ṣabāḥu
- صَبَاحُ
- (the) morning
- l-mundharīna
- ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
- (for) those who were warned
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 177)Tafsir
178
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتّٰى حِيْنٍۙ ١٧٨
- watawalla
- وَتَوَلَّ
- So turn away
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُمْ
- from them
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- for
- ḥīnin
- حِينٍ
- a time
And leave them for a time. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 178)Tafsir
179
وَّاَبْصِرْۗ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٧٩
- wa-abṣir
- وَأَبْصِرْ
- And see
- fasawfa
- فَسَوْفَ
- so soon
- yub'ṣirūna
- يُبْصِرُونَ
- they will see
And see, for they are going to see. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 179)Tafsir
180
سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَۚ ١٨٠
- sub'ḥāna
- سُبْحَٰنَ
- Glory
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (be to) your Lord
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- (the) Lord
- l-ʿizati
- ٱلْعِزَّةِ
- (of) Honor
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yaṣifūna
- يَصِفُونَ
- they attribute
Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 180)Tafsir
