اَلَآ اِنَّهُمْ مِّنْ اِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُوْلُوْنَۙ ١٥١
- alā
- أَلَآ
- No doubt
- innahum
- إِنَّهُم
- indeed they
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- if'kihim
- إِفْكِهِمْ
- their falsehood
- layaqūlūna
- لَيَقُولُونَ
- [they] say
Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 151)Tafsir
152
وَلَدَ اللّٰهُ ۙوَاِنَّهُمْ لَكٰذِبُوْنَۙ ١٥٢
- walada
- وَلَدَ
- "Allah has begotten"
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- "Allah has begotten"
- wa-innahum
- وَإِنَّهُمْ
- and indeed, they
- lakādhibūna
- لَكَٰذِبُونَ
- surely (are) liars
"Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 152)Tafsir
153
اَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِيْنَۗ ١٥٣
- aṣṭafā
- أَصْطَفَى
- Has He chosen
- l-banāti
- ٱلْبَنَاتِ
- [the] daughters
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- over
- l-banīna
- ٱلْبَنِينَ
- sons?
Has He chosen daughters over sons? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 153)Tafsir
154
مَا لَكُمْۗ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُوْنَ ١٥٤
- mā
- مَا
- What is with you?
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- What is with you?
- kayfa
- كَيْفَ
- How
- taḥkumūna
- تَحْكُمُونَ
- you judge?
What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 154)Tafsir
155
اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَۚ ١٥٥
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then will not
- tadhakkarūna
- تَذَكَّرُونَ
- you pay heed?
Then will you not be reminded? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 155)Tafsir
156
اَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطٰنٌ مُّبِيْنٌۙ ١٥٦
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- (is) for you
- sul'ṭānun
- سُلْطَٰنٌ
- an authority
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear?
Or do you have a clear authority? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 156)Tafsir
157
فَأْتُوْا بِكِتٰبِكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١٥٧
- fatū
- فَأْتُوا۟
- Then bring
- bikitābikum
- بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ
- your book
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you are
- ṣādiqīna
- صَٰدِقِينَ
- truthful
Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 157)Tafsir
158
وَجَعَلُوْا بَيْنَهٗ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ۗوَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ اِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُوْنَۙ ١٥٨
- wajaʿalū
- وَجَعَلُوا۟
- And they have made
- baynahu
- بَيْنَهُۥ
- between Him
- wabayna
- وَبَيْنَ
- and between
- l-jinati
- ٱلْجِنَّةِ
- the jinn
- nasaban
- نَسَبًاۚ
- a relationship
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- but certainly
- ʿalimati
- عَلِمَتِ
- know
- l-jinatu
- ٱلْجِنَّةُ
- the jinn
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- that they
- lamuḥ'ḍarūna
- لَمُحْضَرُونَ
- (will) surely be brought
And they have made [i.e., claimed] between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought [to punishment]. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 158)Tafsir
159
سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَۙ ١٥٩
- sub'ḥāna
- سُبْحَٰنَ
- Glory be
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (to) Allah
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yaṣifūna
- يَصِفُونَ
- they attribute
Exalted is Allah above what they describe, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 159)Tafsir
160
اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الْمُخْلَصِيْنَ ١٦٠
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- ʿibāda
- عِبَادَ
- (the) slaves
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- l-mukh'laṣīna
- ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
- the chosen
Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 160)Tafsir
