121
اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١٢١
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- kadhālika
- كَذَٰلِكَ
- thus
- najzī
- نَجْزِى
- reward
- l-muḥ'sinīna
- ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
- the good-doers
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 121)Tafsir
122
اِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٢٢
- innahumā
- إِنَّهُمَا
- Indeed both of them
- min
- مِنْ
- (were) of
- ʿibādinā
- عِبَادِنَا
- Our slaves
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- believing
Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 122)Tafsir
123
وَاِنَّ اِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَۗ ١٢٣
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- il'yāsa
- إِلْيَاسَ
- Ilyas
- lamina
- لَمِنَ
- (was) surely of
- l-mur'salīna
- ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
- the Messengers
And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 123)Tafsir
124
اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهٖٓ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ١٢٤
- idh
- إِذْ
- When
- qāla
- قَالَ
- he said
- liqawmihi
- لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ
- to his people
- alā
- أَلَا
- "Will not
- tattaqūna
- تَتَّقُونَ
- you fear?
When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 124)Tafsir
125
اَتَدْعُوْنَ بَعْلًا وَّتَذَرُوْنَ اَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِيْنَۙ ١٢٥
- atadʿūna
- أَتَدْعُونَ
- Do you call
- baʿlan
- بَعْلًا
- Baal
- watadharūna
- وَتَذَرُونَ
- and you forsake
- aḥsana
- أَحْسَنَ
- (the) Best
- l-khāliqīna
- ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ
- (of) Creators -
Do you call upon Ba’l and leave the best of creators – (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 125)Tafsir
126
اللّٰهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ اٰبَاۤىِٕكُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ١٢٦
- al-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- rabbakum
- رَبَّكُمْ
- your Lord
- warabba
- وَرَبَّ
- and (the) Lord
- ābāikumu
- ءَابَآئِكُمُ
- (of) your forefathers?"
- l-awalīna
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
- (of) your forefathers?"
Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 126)Tafsir
127
فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُوْنَۙ ١٢٧
- fakadhabūhu
- فَكَذَّبُوهُ
- But they denied him
- fa-innahum
- فَإِنَّهُمْ
- so indeed they
- lamuḥ'ḍarūna
- لَمُحْضَرُونَ
- (will) surely be brought
And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 127)Tafsir
128
اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الْمُخْلَصِيْنَ ١٢٨
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- ʿibāda
- عِبَادَ
- (the) slaves
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- l-mukh'laṣīna
- ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
- the chosen ones
Except the chosen servants of Allah. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 128)Tafsir
129
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى الْاٰخِرِيْنَ ۙ ١٢٩
- wataraknā
- وَتَرَكْنَا
- And We left
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for him
- fī
- فِى
- among
- l-ākhirīna
- ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
- the later generations
And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 129)Tafsir
130
سَلٰمٌ عَلٰٓى اِلْ يَاسِيْنَ ١٣٠
- salāmun
- سَلَٰمٌ
- "Peace be
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰٓ
- upon
- ilyāsīna
- إِلْ يَاسِينَ
- Ilyas"
"Peace upon Elias." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 130)Tafsir
