101
        
        فَبَشَّرْنٰهُ بِغُلٰمٍ حَلِيْمٍ ١٠١
- fabasharnāhu
 - فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ
 - So We gave him the glad tidings
 
- bighulāmin
 - بِغُلَٰمٍ
 - of a boy
 
- ḥalīmin
 - حَلِيمٍ
 - forbearing
 
So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 101)Tafsir
            102
        
        فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يٰبُنَيَّ اِنِّيْٓ اَرٰى فِى الْمَنَامِ اَنِّيْٓ اَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرٰىۗ قَالَ يٰٓاَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيْٓ اِنْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ١٠٢
- falammā
 - فَلَمَّا
 - Then when
 
- balagha
 - بَلَغَ
 - he reached
 
- maʿahu
 - مَعَهُ
 - the (age of) working with him
 
- l-saʿya
 - ٱلسَّعْىَ
 - the (age of) working with him
 
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - he said
 
- yābunayya
 - يَٰبُنَىَّ
 - "O my son!
 
- innī
 - إِنِّىٓ
 - Indeed, I
 
- arā
 - أَرَىٰ
 - have seen
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - in
 
- l-manāmi
 - ٱلْمَنَامِ
 - the dream
 
- annī
 - أَنِّىٓ
 - that I am
 
- adhbaḥuka
 - أَذْبَحُكَ
 - sacrificing you
 
- fa-unẓur
 - فَٱنظُرْ
 - so look
 
- mādhā
 - مَاذَا
 - what
 
- tarā
 - تَرَىٰۚ
 - you consider"
 
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - He said
 
- yāabati
 - يَٰٓأَبَتِ
 - "O my father!
 
- if'ʿal
 - ٱفْعَلْ
 - Do
 
- mā
 - مَا
 - what
 
- tu'maru
 - تُؤْمَرُۖ
 - you are commanded
 
- satajidunī
 - سَتَجِدُنِىٓ
 - You will find me
 
- in
 - إِن
 - if
 
- shāa
 - شَآءَ
 - Allah wills
 
- l-lahu
 - ٱللَّهُ
 - Allah wills
 
- mina
 - مِنَ
 - of
 
- l-ṣābirīna
 - ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
 - the patient ones"
 
And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 102)Tafsir
            103
        
        فَلَمَّآ اَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهٗ لِلْجَبِيْنِۚ ١٠٣
- falammā
 - فَلَمَّآ
 - Then when
 
- aslamā
 - أَسْلَمَا
 - both of them had submitted
 
- watallahu
 - وَتَلَّهُۥ
 - and he put him down
 
- lil'jabīni
 - لِلْجَبِينِ
 - upon his forehead
 
And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 103)Tafsir
            104
        
        وَنَادَيْنٰهُ اَنْ يّٰٓاِبْرٰهِيْمُ ۙ ١٠٤
- wanādaynāhu
 - وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ
 - And We called out to him
 
- an
 - أَن
 - that
 
- yāib'rāhīmu
 - يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
 - "O Ibrahim!
 
We called to him, "O Abraham, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 104)Tafsir
            105
        
        قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚاِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١٠٥
- qad
 - قَدْ
 - Verily
 
- ṣaddaqta
 - صَدَّقْتَ
 - you have fulfilled
 
- l-ru'yā
 - ٱلرُّءْيَآۚ
 - the vision"
 
- innā
 - إِنَّا
 - Indeed We
 
- kadhālika
 - كَذَٰلِكَ
 - thus
 
- najzī
 - نَجْزِى
 - [We] reward
 
- l-muḥ'sinīna
 - ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
 - the good-doers
 
You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 105)Tafsir
            106
        
        اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلٰۤؤُا الْمُبِيْنُ ١٠٦
- inna
 - إِنَّ
 - Indeed
 
- hādhā
 - هَٰذَا
 - this
 
- lahuwa
 - لَهُوَ
 - was surely
 
- l-balāu
 - ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟
 - the trial
 
- l-mubīnu
 - ٱلْمُبِينُ
 - clear
 
Indeed, this was the clear trial. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 106)Tafsir
            107
        
        وَفَدَيْنٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيْمٍ ١٠٧
- wafadaynāhu
 - وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ
 - And We ransomed him
 
- bidhib'ḥin
 - بِذِبْحٍ
 - with a sacrifice
 
- ʿaẓīmin
 - عَظِيمٍ
 - great
 
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 107)Tafsir
            108
        
        وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى الْاٰخِرِيْنَ ۖ ١٠٨
- wataraknā
 - وَتَرَكْنَا
 - And We left
 
- ʿalayhi
 - عَلَيْهِ
 - for him
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - among
 
- l-ākhirīna
 - ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
 - the later generations
 
And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 108)Tafsir
            109
        
        سَلٰمٌ عَلٰٓى اِبْرٰهِيْمَ ١٠٩
- salāmun
 - سَلَٰمٌ
 - "Peace be
 
- ʿalā
 - عَلَىٰٓ
 - on
 
- ib'rāhīma
 - إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
 - Ibrahim"
 
"Peace upon Abraham." (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 109)Tafsir
            110
        
        كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١١٠
- kadhālika
 - كَذَٰلِكَ
 - Thus
 
- najzī
 - نَجْزِى
 - We reward
 
- l-muḥ'sinīna
 - ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
 - the good-doers
 
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. (QS. [37] As-Saffat: 110)Tafsir
