Al-Qur'an Surah Ya-Sin Verse 63
Ya-Sin [36]: 63 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ تُوْعَدُوْنَ (يس : ٣٦)
- hādhihi
- هَٰذِهِۦ
- This (is)
- jahannamu
- جَهَنَّمُ
- (the) Hell
- allatī
- ٱلَّتِى
- which
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you were
- tūʿadūna
- تُوعَدُونَ
- promised
Transliteration:
Haazihee Jahannamul latee kuntum too'adoon(QS. Yāʾ Sīn:63)
English / Sahih Translation:
This is the Hellfire which you were promised. (QS. Ya-Sin, ayah 63)

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to the disbelievers among the sons of Adam, after Hell has been shown to them as a rebuke; and warning;
هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
This is Hell which you were promised!
meaning, `this is what the Messengers warned you about, and you did not believe them.'
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
