Al-Qur'an Surah Ya-Sin Verse 44
Ya-Sin [36]: 44 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا اِلٰى حِيْنٍ (يس : ٣٦)

Transliteration:
Illaa rahmatam minnaa wa mataa'an ilaa heen(QS. Yāʾ Sīn:44)
English / Sahih Translation:
Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time. (QS. Ya-Sin, ayah 44)

Tafsir jalalayn

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا
Unless it be a mercy from Us,
means, `but by Our mercy We make it easy for you to travel on land and sea, and We keep you safe until an appointed time.'
Allah says;
وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ
and as an enjoyment for a while.
meaning, until a time that is known to Allah, may He be glorified and exalted
