Al-Qur'an Surah Fatir Verse 7
Fatir [35]: 7 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اَلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ ەۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ ࣖ (فاطر : ٣٥)
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (will be) a punishment
- shadīdun
- شَدِيدٌۖ
- severe
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- who believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- lahum
- لَهُم
- for them
- maghfiratun
- مَّغْفِرَةٌ
- (will be) forgiveness
- wa-ajrun
- وَأَجْرٌ
- and a reward
- kabīrun
- كَبِيرٌ
- great
Transliteration:
Allazeena kafaroo lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer(QS. Fāṭir:7)
English / Sahih Translation:
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward. (QS. Fatir, ayah 7)

The Punishment of the Disbeliever and the Reward of the Believer on the Day of Resurrection
Allah says,
الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ
Those who disbelieve, theirs will be a severe torment;
Having stated that the ultimate destiny of the followers of Iblis will be the blazing Fire, Allah then tells us that for those who disbelieve there will be a severe punishment. This is because they obeyed the Shaytan and disobeyed Ar-Rahman.
وَالَّذِينَ امَنُوا
and those who believe
And He tells us that those who believed in Allah and His Messengers
وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ
and do righteous good deeds, theirs will be forgiveness,
meaning, from whatever sins they did,
وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
and a great reward. for the good deeds that they did.
Then Allah says
