وَالَّذِيْٓ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتٰبِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِعِبَادِهٖ لَخَبِيْرٌۢ بَصِيْرٌ ٣١
- wa-alladhī
- وَٱلَّذِىٓ
- And (that) which
- awḥaynā
- أَوْحَيْنَآ
- We have revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Book
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّ
- (is) the truth
- muṣaddiqan
- مُصَدِّقًا
- confirming
- limā
- لِّمَا
- what (was)
- bayna
- بَيْنَ
- before it
- yadayhi
- يَدَيْهِۗ
- before it
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- biʿibādihi
- بِعِبَادِهِۦ
- of His slaves
- lakhabīrun
- لَخَبِيرٌۢ
- surely, (is) All-Aware
- baṣīrun
- بَصِيرٌ
- All-Seer
And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed Allah, of His servants, is Aware and Seeing. (QS. [35] Fatir: 31)Tafsir
ثُمَّ اَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتٰبَ الَّذِيْنَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَاۚ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهٖ ۚوَمِنْهُمْ مُّقْتَصِدٌ ۚوَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌۢ بِالْخَيْرٰتِ بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيْرُۗ ٣٢
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- awrathnā
- أَوْرَثْنَا
- We caused to inherit
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- iṣ'ṭafaynā
- ٱصْطَفَيْنَا
- We have chosen
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- ʿibādinā
- عِبَادِنَاۖ
- Our slaves;
- famin'hum
- فَمِنْهُمْ
- and among them
- ẓālimun
- ظَالِمٌ
- (is he) who wrongs
- linafsihi
- لِّنَفْسِهِۦ
- himself
- wamin'hum
- وَمِنْهُم
- and among them
- muq'taṣidun
- مُّقْتَصِدٌ
- (is he who is) moderate
- wamin'hum
- وَمِنْهُمْ
- and among them
- sābiqun
- سَابِقٌۢ
- (is he who is) foremost
- bil-khayrāti
- بِٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ
- in good deeds
- bi-idh'ni
- بِإِذْنِ
- by permission
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ
- (of) Allah
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- huwa
- هُوَ
- is
- l-faḍlu
- ٱلْفَضْلُ
- the Bounty
- l-kabīru
- ٱلْكَبِيرُ
- the great
Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. (QS. [35] Fatir: 32)Tafsir
جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ يَّدْخُلُوْنَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيْهَا مِنْ اَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّلُؤْلُؤًا ۚوَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيْهَا حَرِيْرٌ ٣٣
- jannātu
- جَنَّٰتُ
- Gardens
- ʿadnin
- عَدْنٍ
- (of) Eternity
- yadkhulūnahā
- يَدْخُلُونَهَا
- they will enter them
- yuḥallawna
- يُحَلَّوْنَ
- They will be adorned
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- min
- مِنْ
- with
- asāwira
- أَسَاوِرَ
- bracelets
- min
- مِن
- of
- dhahabin
- ذَهَبٍ
- gold
- walu'lu-an
- وَلُؤْلُؤًاۖ
- and pearls
- walibāsuhum
- وَلِبَاسُهُمْ
- and their garments
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- ḥarīrun
- حَرِيرٌ
- (will be of) silk
[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk. (QS. [35] Fatir: 33)Tafsir
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْٓ اَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَۗ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌۙ ٣٤
- waqālū
- وَقَالُوا۟
- And they (will) say
- l-ḥamdu
- ٱلْحَمْدُ
- "All praises
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- (be) to Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- the One Who
- adhhaba
- أَذْهَبَ
- (has) removed
- ʿannā
- عَنَّا
- from us
- l-ḥazana
- ٱلْحَزَنَۖ
- the sorrow
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- rabbanā
- رَبَّنَا
- our Lord
- laghafūrun
- لَغَفُورٌ
- (is) surely Oft-Forgiving
- shakūrun
- شَكُورٌ
- Most Appreciative
And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative – (QS. [35] Fatir: 34)Tafsir
ۨالَّذِيْٓ اَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖۚ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيْهَا نَصَبٌ وَّلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيْهَا لُغُوْبٌ ٣٥
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- The One Who
- aḥallanā
- أَحَلَّنَا
- has settled us
- dāra
- دَارَ
- (in) a Home
- l-muqāmati
- ٱلْمُقَامَةِ
- (of) Eternity
- min
- مِن
- (out) of
- faḍlihi
- فَضْلِهِۦ
- His Bounty
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yamassunā
- يَمَسُّنَا
- touches us
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- naṣabun
- نَصَبٌ
- any fatigue
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yamassunā
- يَمَسُّنَا
- touches
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- lughūbun
- لُغُوبٌ
- weariness"
He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e., Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]." (QS. [35] Fatir: 35)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَۚ لَا يُقْضٰى عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوْتُوْا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابِهَاۗ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِيْ كُلَّ كَفُوْرٍ ۚ ٣٦
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- nāru
- نَارُ
- (will be the) Fire
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- (of) Hell
- lā
- لَا
- Not
- yuq'ḍā
- يُقْضَىٰ
- is decreed
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- for them
- fayamūtū
- فَيَمُوتُوا۟
- that they die
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yukhaffafu
- يُخَفَّفُ
- will be lightened
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُم
- for them
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- ʿadhābihā
- عَذَابِهَاۚ
- its torment
- kadhālika
- كَذَٰلِكَ
- Thus
- najzī
- نَجْزِى
- We recompense
- kulla
- كُلَّ
- every
- kafūrin
- كَفُورٍ
- ungrateful one
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one. (QS. [35] Fatir: 36)Tafsir
وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُوْنَ فِيْهَاۚ رَبَّنَآ اَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِيْ كُنَّا نَعْمَلُۗ اَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيْهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاۤءَكُمُ النَّذِيْرُۗ فَذُوْقُوْا فَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ مِنْ نَّصِيْرٍ ٣٧
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- And they
- yaṣṭarikhūna
- يَصْطَرِخُونَ
- will cry
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- rabbanā
- رَبَّنَآ
- "Our Lord!
- akhrij'nā
- أَخْرِجْنَا
- Bring us out;
- naʿmal
- نَعْمَلْ
- we will do
- ṣāliḥan
- صَٰلِحًا
- righteous (deeds)
- ghayra
- غَيْرَ
- other than
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (that) which
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- we used
- naʿmalu
- نَعْمَلُۚ
- (to) do"
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Did not
- nuʿammir'kum
- نُعَمِّرْكُم
- We give you life long enough
- mā
- مَّا
- that
- yatadhakkaru
- يَتَذَكَّرُ
- (would) receive admonition
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- therein
- man
- مَن
- whoever
- tadhakkara
- تَذَكَّرَ
- receives admonition?
- wajāakumu
- وَجَآءَكُمُ
- And came to you
- l-nadhīru
- ٱلنَّذِيرُۖ
- the warner
- fadhūqū
- فَذُوقُوا۟
- So taste
- famā
- فَمَا
- then not
- lilẓẓālimīna
- لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- (is) for the wrongdoers
- min
- مِن
- any
- naṣīrin
- نَّصِيرٍ
- helper
And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness – other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper. (QS. [35] Fatir: 37)Tafsir
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ٣٨
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ʿālimu
- عَٰلِمُ
- (is the) Knower
- ghaybi
- غَيْبِ
- (of the) unseen
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- and the earth
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed, He
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌۢ
- (is the) All-Knower
- bidhāti
- بِذَاتِ
- of what (is) in the breasts
- l-ṣudūri
- ٱلصُّدُورِ
- of what (is) in the breasts
Indeed, Allah is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (QS. [35] Fatir: 38)Tafsir
هُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَكُمْ خَلٰۤىِٕفَ فِى الْاَرْضِۗ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهٗۗ وَلَا يَزِيْدُ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ اِلَّا مَقْتًا ۚوَلَا يَزِيْدُ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ كُفْرُهُمْ اِلَّا خَسَارًا ٣٩
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- jaʿalakum
- جَعَلَكُمْ
- made you
- khalāifa
- خَلَٰٓئِفَ
- successors
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۚ
- the earth
- faman
- فَمَن
- And whoever
- kafara
- كَفَرَ
- disbelieves
- faʿalayhi
- فَعَلَيْهِ
- then upon him
- kuf'ruhu
- كُفْرُهُۥۖ
- (is) his disbelief
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- yazīdu
- يَزِيدُ
- increase
- l-kāfirīna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers
- kuf'ruhum
- كُفْرُهُمْ
- their disbelief
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- near
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- maqtan
- مَقْتًاۖ
- (in) hatred;
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yazīdu
- يَزِيدُ
- increase
- l-kāfirīna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers
- kuf'ruhum
- كُفْرُهُمْ
- their disbelief
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- khasāran
- خَسَارًا
- (in) loss
It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves – upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss. (QS. [35] Fatir: 39)Tafsir
قُلْ اَرَاَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاۤءَكُمُ الَّذِيْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗاَرُوْنِيْ مَاذَا خَلَقُوْا مِنَ الْاَرْضِ اَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِۚ اَمْ اٰتَيْنٰهُمْ كِتٰبًا فَهُمْ عَلٰى بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُۚ بَلْ اِنْ يَّعِدُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا اِلَّا غُرُوْرًا ٤٠
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- ara-aytum
- أَرَءَيْتُمْ
- "Have you seen
- shurakāakumu
- شُرَكَآءَكُمُ
- your partners
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- tadʿūna
- تَدْعُونَ
- you call
- min
- مِن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah?"
- arūnī
- أَرُونِى
- Show Me
- mādhā
- مَاذَا
- what
- khalaqū
- خَلَقُوا۟
- they have created
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- am
- أَمْ
- or
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- shir'kun
- شِرْكٌ
- (is) a share
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- ātaynāhum
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ
- have We given them
- kitāban
- كِتَٰبًا
- a Book
- fahum
- فَهُمْ
- so they
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (are) on
- bayyinatin
- بَيِّنَتٍ
- a clear proof
- min'hu
- مِّنْهُۚ
- therefrom?
- bal
- بَلْ
- Nay
- in
- إِن
- not
- yaʿidu
- يَعِدُ
- promise
- l-ẓālimūna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- the wrongdoers
- baʿḍuhum
- بَعْضُهُم
- some of them
- baʿḍan
- بَعْضًا
- (to) others
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- ghurūran
- غُرُورًا
- delusion
Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion." (QS. [35] Fatir: 40)Tafsir
