وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الْحَرُوْرُۚ ٢١
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- l-ẓilu
- ٱلظِّلُّ
- the shade
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- l-ḥarūru
- ٱلْحَرُورُ
- the heat
Nor are the shade and the heat, (QS. [35] Fatir: 21)Tafsir
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى الْاَحْيَاۤءُ وَلَا الْاَمْوَاتُۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۚوَمَآ اَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّنْ فِى الْقُبُوْرِ ٢٢
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yastawī
- يَسْتَوِى
- equal
- l-aḥyāu
- ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ
- (are) the living
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- l-amwātu
- ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُۚ
- the dead
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- yus'miʿu
- يُسْمِعُ
- causes to hear
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُۖ
- He wills
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- and not
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you
- bimus'miʿin
- بِمُسْمِعٍ
- can make hear
- man
- مَّن
- (those) who
- fī
- فِى
- (are) in
- l-qubūri
- ٱلْقُبُورِ
- the graves
And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. (QS. [35] Fatir: 22)Tafsir
اِنْ اَنْتَ اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ ٢٣
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you (are)
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌ
- a warner
You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. (QS. [35] Fatir: 23)Tafsir
اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيْرًا وَّنَذِيْرًا ۗوَاِنْ مِّنْ اُمَّةٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِيْهَا نَذِيْرٌ ٢٤
- innā
- إِنَّآ
- Indeed We
- arsalnāka
- أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ
- [We] have sent you
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- with the truth
- bashīran
- بَشِيرًا
- (as) a bearer of glad tidings
- wanadhīran
- وَنَذِيرًاۚ
- and (as) a warner
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And not
- min
- مِّنْ
- (was) any
- ummatin
- أُمَّةٍ
- nation
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- khalā
- خَلَا
- had passed
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- within it
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌ
- a warner
Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. (QS. [35] Fatir: 24)Tafsir
وَاِنْ يُّكَذِّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚجَاۤءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتٰبِ الْمُنِيْرِ ٢٥
- wa-in
- وَإِن
- And if
- yukadhibūka
- يُكَذِّبُوكَ
- they deny you
- faqad
- فَقَدْ
- then certainly
- kadhaba
- كَذَّبَ
- denied
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- min
- مِن
- (were) before them
- qablihim
- قَبْلِهِمْ
- (were) before them
- jāathum
- جَآءَتْهُمْ
- Came to them
- rusuluhum
- رُسُلُهُم
- their Messengers
- bil-bayināti
- بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
- with clear signs
- wabil-zuburi
- وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ
- and with Scriptures
- wabil-kitābi
- وَبِٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- and with the Book
- l-munīri
- ٱلْمُنِيرِ
- [the] enlightening
And if they deny you – then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. (QS. [35] Fatir: 25)Tafsir
ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيْرِ ࣖ ٢٦
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- akhadhtu
- أَخَذْتُ
- I seized
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟ۖ
- disbelieved
- fakayfa
- فَكَيْفَ
- and how
- kāna
- كَانَ
- was
- nakīri
- نَكِيرِ
- My rejection!
Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. (QS. [35] Fatir: 26)Tafsir
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ اَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۚ فَاَخْرَجْنَا بِهٖ ثَمَرٰتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا اَلْوَانُهَا ۗوَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ ۢبِيْضٌ وَّحُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيْبُ سُوْدٌ ٢٧
- alam
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- tara
- تَرَ
- you see
- anna
- أَنَّ
- that
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- sends down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- māan
- مَآءً
- water
- fa-akhrajnā
- فَأَخْرَجْنَا
- then We bring forth
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- therewith
- thamarātin
- ثَمَرَٰتٍ
- fruits
- mukh'talifan
- مُّخْتَلِفًا
- (of) various
- alwānuhā
- أَلْوَٰنُهَاۚ
- [their] colors?
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And in
- l-jibāli
- ٱلْجِبَالِ
- the mountains
- judadun
- جُدَدٌۢ
- (are) tracts
- bīḍun
- بِيضٌ
- white
- waḥum'run
- وَحُمْرٌ
- and red
- mukh'talifun
- مُّخْتَلِفٌ
- (of) various
- alwānuhā
- أَلْوَٰنُهَا
- [their] colors
- wagharābību
- وَغَرَابِيبُ
- and intensely black
- sūdun
- سُودٌ
- and intensely black
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black. (QS. [35] Fatir: 27)Tafsir
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَاۤبِّ وَالْاَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُهٗ كَذٰلِكَۗ اِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللّٰهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمٰۤؤُاۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيْزٌ غَفُوْرٌ ٢٨
- wamina
- وَمِنَ
- And among
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- men
- wal-dawābi
- وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ
- and moving creatures
- wal-anʿāmi
- وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ
- and the cattle
- mukh'talifun
- مُخْتَلِفٌ
- (are) various
- alwānuhu
- أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ
- [their] colors
- kadhālika
- كَذَٰلِكَۗ
- likewise
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- Only
- yakhshā
- يَخْشَى
- fear
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- min
- مِنْ
- among
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِ
- His slaves
- l-ʿulamāu
- ٱلْعُلَمَٰٓؤُا۟ۗ
- those who have knowledge
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ʿazīzun
- عَزِيزٌ
- (is) All-Mighty
- ghafūrun
- غَفُورٌ
- Oft-Forgiving
And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving. (QS. [35] Fatir: 28)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَتْلُوْنَ كِتٰبَ اللّٰهِ وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاَنْفَقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَّعَلَانِيَةً يَّرْجُوْنَ تِجَارَةً لَّنْ تَبُوْرَۙ ٢٩
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- yatlūna
- يَتْلُونَ
- recite
- kitāba
- كِتَٰبَ
- (the) Book
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- wa-aqāmū
- وَأَقَامُوا۟
- and establish
- l-ṣalata
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
- the prayer
- wa-anfaqū
- وَأَنفَقُوا۟
- and spend
- mimmā
- مِمَّا
- out of what
- razaqnāhum
- رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
- We have provided them
- sirran
- سِرًّا
- secretly
- waʿalāniyatan
- وَعَلَانِيَةً
- and openly
- yarjūna
- يَرْجُونَ
- hope
- tijāratan
- تِجَٰرَةً
- (for) a commerce -
- lan
- لَّن
- never
- tabūra
- تَبُورَ
- it will perish
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., profit] that will never perish – (QS. [35] Fatir: 29)Tafsir
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ اُجُوْرَهُمْ وَيَزِيْدَهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖۗ اِنَّهٗ غَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ ٣٠
- liyuwaffiyahum
- لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ
- That He may give them in full
- ujūrahum
- أُجُورَهُمْ
- their rewards
- wayazīdahum
- وَيَزِيدَهُم
- and increase for them
- min
- مِّن
- of
- faḍlihi
- فَضْلِهِۦٓۚ
- His Bounty
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- ghafūrun
- غَفُورٌ
- (is) Oft-Forgiving
- shakūrun
- شَكُورٌ
- Most Appreciative
That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative. (QS. [35] Fatir: 30)Tafsir
