bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim
1

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ رُسُلًاۙ اُولِيْٓ اَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنٰى وَثُلٰثَ وَرُبٰعَۗ يَزِيْدُ فِى الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاۤءُۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١

al-ḥamdu
ٱلْحَمْدُ
All praises
lillahi
لِلَّهِ
(be) to Allah
fāṭiri
فَاطِرِ
Creator
l-samāwāti
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth
jāʿili
جَاعِلِ
(Who) makes
l-malāikati
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
the Angels
rusulan
رُسُلًا
messengers
ulī
أُو۟لِىٓ
having wings
ajniḥatin
أَجْنِحَةٍ
having wings
mathnā
مَّثْنَىٰ
two
wathulātha
وَثُلَٰثَ
or three
warubāʿa
وَرُبَٰعَۚ
or four
yazīdu
يَزِيدُ
He increases
فِى
in
l-khalqi
ٱلْخَلْقِ
the creation
مَا
what
yashāu
يَشَآءُۚ
He wills
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
kulli
كُلِّ
every
shayin
شَىْءٍ
thing
qadīrun
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. (QS. [35] Fatir: 1)
Tafsir
2

مَا يَفْتَحِ اللّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۚوَمَا يُمْسِكْۙ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖۗ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٢

مَّا
What
yaftaḥi
يَفْتَحِ
Allah grants
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah grants
lilnnāsi
لِلنَّاسِ
to mankind
min
مِن
of
raḥmatin
رَّحْمَةٍ
Mercy
falā
فَلَا
then none
mum'sika
مُمْسِكَ
(can) withhold
lahā
لَهَاۖ
it
wamā
وَمَا
And what
yum'sik
يُمْسِكْ
He withholds
falā
فَلَا
then none
mur'sila
مُرْسِلَ
(can) release
lahu
لَهُۥ
it
min
مِنۢ
thereafter
baʿdihi
بَعْدِهِۦۚ
thereafter
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
And He
l-ʿazīzu
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
(is) the All-Mighty
l-ḥakīmu
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise
Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy – none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds – none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (QS. [35] Fatir: 2)
Tafsir
3

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْۗ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۖ فَاَنّٰى تُؤْفَكُوْنَ ٣

yāayyuhā
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
l-nāsu
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
udh'kurū
ٱذْكُرُوا۟
Remember
niʿ'mata
نِعْمَتَ
(the) Favor
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
ʿalaykum
عَلَيْكُمْۚ
upon you
hal
هَلْ
Is
min
مِنْ
(there) any
khāliqin
خَٰلِقٍ
creator
ghayru
غَيْرُ
other (than) Allah
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
other (than) Allah
yarzuqukum
يَرْزُقُكُم
who provides for you
mina
مِّنَ
from
l-samāi
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
and the earth?
لَآ
(There is) no
ilāha
إِلَٰهَ
god
illā
إِلَّا
but
huwa
هُوَۖ
He
fa-annā
فَأَنَّىٰ
Then, how
tu'fakūna
تُؤْفَكُونَ
(are) you deluded?
O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded? (QS. [35] Fatir: 3)
Tafsir
4

وَاِنْ يُّكَذِّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَۗ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُوْرُ ٤

wa-in
وَإِن
And if
yukadhibūka
يُكَذِّبُوكَ
they deny you
faqad
فَقَدْ
then certainly
kudhibat
كُذِّبَتْ
were denied
rusulun
رُسُلٌ
Messengers
min
مِّن
before you
qablika
قَبْلِكَۚ
before you
wa-ilā
وَإِلَى
And to
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
tur'jaʿu
تُرْجَعُ
return
l-umūru
ٱلْأُمُورُ
the matters
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters. (QS. [35] Fatir: 4)
Tafsir
5

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَاۗ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ ٥

yāayyuhā
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
l-nāsu
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
waʿda
وَعْدَ
(the) promise
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
ḥaqqun
حَقٌّۖ
(is) true
falā
فَلَا
So (let) not
taghurrannakumu
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
deceive you
l-ḥayatu
ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
the life
l-dun'yā
ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
(of) the world
walā
وَلَا
and (let) not
yaghurrannakum
يَغُرَّنَّكُم
deceive you
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
about Allah
l-gharūru
ٱلْغَرُورُ
the Deceiver
O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan]. (QS. [35] Fatir: 5)
Tafsir
6

اِنَّ الشَّيْطٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوْهُ عَدُوًّاۗ اِنَّمَا يَدْعُوْا حِزْبَهٗ لِيَكُوْنُوْا مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ السَّعِيْرِۗ ٦

inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-shayṭāna
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ
the Shaitaan
lakum
لَكُمْ
(is) to you
ʿaduwwun
عَدُوٌّ
an enemy
fa-ittakhidhūhu
فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ
so take him
ʿaduwwan
عَدُوًّاۚ
(as) an enemy
innamā
إِنَّمَا
Only
yadʿū
يَدْعُوا۟
he invites
ḥiz'bahu
حِزْبَهُۥ
his party
liyakūnū
لِيَكُونُوا۟
that they may be
min
مِنْ
among
aṣḥābi
أَصْحَٰبِ
(the) companions
l-saʿīri
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
(of) the Blaze
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze. (QS. [35] Fatir: 6)
Tafsir
7

اَلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ ەۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ ࣖ ٧

alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
kafarū
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve
lahum
لَهُمْ
for them
ʿadhābun
عَذَابٌ
(will be) a punishment
shadīdun
شَدِيدٌۖ
severe
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
who believe
waʿamilū
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
l-ṣāliḥāti
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds
lahum
لَهُم
for them
maghfiratun
مَّغْفِرَةٌ
(will be) forgiveness
wa-ajrun
وَأَجْرٌ
and a reward
kabīrun
كَبِيرٌ
great
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward. (QS. [35] Fatir: 7)
Tafsir
8

اَفَمَنْ زُيِّنَ لَهٗ سُوْۤءُ عَمَلِهٖ فَرَاٰهُ حَسَنًاۗ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيَهْدِيْ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرٰتٍۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِمَا يَصْنَعُوْنَ ٨

afaman
أَفَمَن
Then is (he) who -
zuyyina
زُيِّنَ
is made fair-seeming
lahu
لَهُۥ
to him
sūu
سُوٓءُ
(the) evil
ʿamalihi
عَمَلِهِۦ
(of) his deed -
faraāhu
فَرَءَاهُ
so that he sees it
ḥasanan
حَسَنًاۖ
(as) good?
fa-inna
فَإِنَّ
For indeed
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
yuḍillu
يُضِلُّ
lets go astray
man
مَن
whom
yashāu
يَشَآءُ
He wills
wayahdī
وَيَهْدِى
and guides
man
مَن
whom
yashāu
يَشَآءُۖ
He wills
falā
فَلَا
So (let) not
tadhhab
تَذْهَبْ
go out
nafsuka
نَفْسُكَ
your soul
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
for them
ḥasarātin
حَسَرَٰتٍۚ
(in) regrets
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
ʿalīmun
عَلِيمٌۢ
(is) All-Knower
bimā
بِمَا
of what
yaṣnaʿūna
يَصْنَعُونَ
they do
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. (QS. [35] Fatir: 8)
Tafsir
9

وَاللّٰهُ الَّذِيْٓ اَرْسَلَ الرِّيٰحَ فَتُثِيْرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنٰهُ اِلٰى بَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَاَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۗ كَذٰلِكَ النُّشُوْرُ ٩

wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
alladhī
ٱلَّذِىٓ
(is) the One Who
arsala
أَرْسَلَ
sends
l-riyāḥa
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
the winds
fatuthīru
فَتُثِيرُ
so that they raise
saḥāban
سَحَابًا
(the) clouds
fasuq'nāhu
فَسُقْنَٰهُ
and We drive them
ilā
إِلَىٰ
to
baladin
بَلَدٍ
a land
mayyitin
مَّيِّتٍ
dead
fa-aḥyaynā
فَأَحْيَيْنَا
and We revive
bihi
بِهِ
therewith
l-arḍa
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the earth
baʿda
بَعْدَ
after
mawtihā
مَوْتِهَاۚ
its death
kadhālika
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
l-nushūru
ٱلنُّشُورُ
(will be) the Resurrection
And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection. (QS. [35] Fatir: 9)
Tafsir
10

مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلّٰهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيْعًاۗ اِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهٗ ۗوَالَّذِيْنَ يَمْكُرُوْنَ السَّيِّاٰتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ ۗوَمَكْرُ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُوَ يَبُوْرُ ١٠

مَن
Whoever
kāna
كَانَ
[is] desires
yurīdu
يُرِيدُ
[is] desires
l-ʿizata
ٱلْعِزَّةَ
the honor
falillahi
فَلِلَّهِ
then for Allah
l-ʿizatu
ٱلْعِزَّةُ
(is) the Honor
jamīʿan
جَمِيعًاۚ
all
ilayhi
إِلَيْهِ
To Him
yaṣʿadu
يَصْعَدُ
ascends
l-kalimu
ٱلْكَلِمُ
the words
l-ṭayibu
ٱلطَّيِّبُ
good
wal-ʿamalu
وَٱلْعَمَلُ
and the deed
l-ṣāliḥu
ٱلصَّٰلِحُ
righteous
yarfaʿuhu
يَرْفَعُهُۥۚ
raises it
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
But those who
yamkurūna
يَمْكُرُونَ
plot
l-sayiāti
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
the evil
lahum
لَهُمْ
for them
ʿadhābun
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
shadīdun
شَدِيدٌۖ
severe
wamakru
وَمَكْرُ
and (the) plotting
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
(of) those
huwa
هُوَ
it
yabūru
يَبُورُ
(will) perish
Whoever desires honor [through power] – then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those – it will perish. (QS. [35] Fatir: 10)
