Saba [34]: 27 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

قُلْ اَرُوْنِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اَلْحَقْتُمْ بِهٖ شُرَكَاۤءَ كَلَّا ۗبَلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ (سبإ : ٣٤)

ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty
l-ḥakīmu
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise"

Transliteration:

Qul arooniyal lazeena alhaqtum bihee shurakaaa'a kallaa; bal Huwal Laahul 'Azeezul Hakeem (QS. Sabaʾ:27)

English / Sahih Translation:

Say, "Show me those whom you have attached to Him as partners. No! Rather, He [alone] is Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (QS. Saba, ayah 27)

Mufti Taqi Usmani

Say, “Show me the ones whom you have associated with Him as partners. Never! (You can never produce such partners.) He is but Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.”

Say, “Show me those ˹idols˺ you have joined with Him as partners. No! In fact, He ˹alone˺ is Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise.”

Say: "Just show me those you associate with Him as compeers." No, (you cannot), for He is God, the all-mighty and all-wise."

Say, ‘Show me those whom you associate with Him as partners.’ No! [They can never show any such partner]. Indeed, He is Allah, the All-mighty, the All-wise.

Say: "Show me those beings that you have joined with Him as partners (so that I may see whether any among them deserve worship!) No! (You cannot do it because it is impossible!) But He alone is God, the All-Glorious with irresistible might (Who never needs and admits any partnership), the All-Wise (Whose Divine Wisdom rejects partnership with Him)."

Amatul Rahman Omar

Say, `Show me those beings whom you number with Him as (His) associates. By no means (should you associate partners with Him) for it is Allâh (alone) Who is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

English Literal

Say: "Show me/make me understand those whom you joined with Him partners (with God), no but He is God, the glorious/mighty , the wise/judicious .

Say, “(Dare you) Show me those whom you have matched with Him – never! Rather only He is Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise.”

Say, "Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing."

Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists and pagans): "Show me those whom you have joined to Him as partners. Nay (there are not at all any partners with Him)! But He is Allah (Alone), the AllMighty, the AllWise."

Say to them, "Show me those whom you have joined with Him as partners. No indeed! For He alone is God, the Mighty One, the Wise One."

Say, “Show me those you have attached to Him as associates. No indeed! But He is God, the Powerful, the Wise.”

Tafsir jalalayn

Say; `Show me, apprise me of, those whom you have joined to Him as associates, in worship. No indeed! -- [this is] meant to deter them from [even] supposing that He has an associate. Rather He is God, the Mighty, Whose way will prevail, the Wise', in the way in which He manages [the affairs of] His creation and so He could not have any associate in His kingdom.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

قُلْ أَرُونِي الَّذِينَ أَلْحَقْتُم بِهِ شُرَكَاء

Say;"Show me those whom you have joined with Him as partners..."

means, `show me those gods whom you made as rivals and equals to Allah.'

كَلَّ

Nay,

means, He has no peer, rival, partner or equal.

Allah says;

بَلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ

But He is Allah,

meaning, the One and Only God Who has no partner.

الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ



the Almighty, the All-Wise.

means, the Owner of might with which He subjugates and controls all things, the One Who is Wise in all His Words and deeds, Laws and decrees. Blessed and exalted and sanctified be He far above all that they say.
