Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Ahzab Verse 46
Al-Ahzab [33]: 46 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَّدَاعِيًا اِلَى اللّٰهِ بِاِذْنِهٖ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيْرًا (الأحزاب : ٣٣)
- wadāʿiyan
- وَدَاعِيًا
- And as one who invites
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- bi-idh'nihi
- بِإِذْنِهِۦ
- by His permission
- wasirājan
- وَسِرَاجًا
- and (as) a lamp
- munīran
- مُّنِيرًا
- illuminating
Transliteration:
Wa daa'iyan ilal laahi bi iznihee wa siraajam muneeraa(QS. al-ʾAḥzāb:46)
English / Sahih Translation:
And one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp. (QS. Al-Ahzab, ayah 46)

Tafsir jalalayn
and as a summoner to God, to obedience to Him, by His leave, by His command, and as a illuminating lamp, in other words, the equivalent of it, in terms of one's being able to find guidance therewith.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ
And as one who invites to Allah by His leave,
means, `you call mankind to worship their Lord because He has commanded you to do so.'
وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا
and as a lamp spreading light.
means, `the Message that you bring is as clear as the sun shining brightly, and no one can deny it except those who are stubborn.'
وَبَشِّرِ الْمُوْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَضْلً كَبِيرًا
