يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ اتَّقِ اللّٰهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًاۙ ١
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O Prophet!
- l-nabiyu
- ٱلنَّبِىُّ
- O Prophet!
- ittaqi
- ٱتَّقِ
- Fear
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- tuṭiʿi
- تُطِعِ
- obey
- l-kāfirīna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers
- wal-munāfiqīna
- وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَۗ
- and the hypocrites
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- ʿalīman
- عَلِيمًا
- All-Knower
- ḥakīman
- حَكِيمًا
- All-Wise
O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 1)Tafsir
وَّاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوْحٰىٓ اِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرًاۙ ٢
- wa-ittabiʿ
- وَٱتَّبِعْ
- And follow
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yūḥā
- يُوحَىٰٓ
- is inspired
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbika
- رَّبِّكَۚ
- your Lord
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- khabīran
- خَبِيرًا
- All-Aware
And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed Allah is ever, of what you do, Aware. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 2)Tafsir
وَّتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ ۗوَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَكِيْلًا ٣
- watawakkal
- وَتَوَكَّلْ
- And put your trust
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- in
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ
- Allah
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- And Allah is sufficient
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- And Allah is sufficient
- wakīlan
- وَكِيلًا
- (as) Disposer of affairs
And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 3)Tafsir
مَا جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِيْ جَوْفِهٖ ۚوَمَا جَعَلَ اَزْوَاجَكُمُ الّٰـِٕۤيْ تُظٰهِرُوْنَ مِنْهُنَّ اُمَّهٰتِكُمْ ۚوَمَا جَعَلَ اَدْعِيَاۤءَكُمْ اَبْنَاۤءَكُمْۗ ذٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِكُمْ ۗوَاللّٰهُ يَقُوْلُ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِى السَّبِيْلَ ٤
- mā
- مَّا
- Not
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- Allah (has) made
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah (has) made
- lirajulin
- لِرَجُلٍ
- for any man
- min
- مِّن
- [of]
- qalbayni
- قَلْبَيْنِ
- two hearts
- fī
- فِى
- in
- jawfihi
- جَوْفِهِۦۚ
- his interior
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- He (has) made
- azwājakumu
- أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ
- your wives
- allāī
- ٱلَّٰٓـِٔى
- whom
- tuẓāhirūna
- تُظَٰهِرُونَ
- you declare unlawful
- min'hunna
- مِنْهُنَّ
- [of them]
- ummahātikum
- أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْۚ
- (as) your mothers
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- He has made
- adʿiyāakum
- أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ
- your adopted sons
- abnāakum
- أَبْنَآءَكُمْۚ
- your sons
- dhālikum
- ذَٰلِكُمْ
- That
- qawlukum
- قَوْلُكُم
- (is) your saying
- bi-afwāhikum
- بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْۖ
- by your mouths
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- but Allah
- yaqūlu
- يَقُولُ
- says
- l-ḥaqa
- ٱلْحَقَّ
- the truth
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- yahdī
- يَهْدِى
- guides
- l-sabīla
- ٱلسَّبِيلَ
- (to) the Way
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And He has not made your claimed [i.e., adopted] sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 4)Tafsir
اُدْعُوْهُمْ لِاٰبَاۤىِٕهِمْ هُوَ اَقْسَطُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۚ فَاِنْ لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوْٓا اٰبَاۤءَهُمْ فَاِخْوَانُكُمْ فِى الدِّيْنِ وَمَوَالِيْكُمْ ۗوَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيْمَآ اَخْطَأْتُمْ بِهٖ وَلٰكِنْ مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ ۗوَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِيْمًا ٥
- id'ʿūhum
- ٱدْعُوهُمْ
- Call them
- liābāihim
- لِءَابَآئِهِمْ
- by their fathers
- huwa
- هُوَ
- it
- aqsaṭu
- أَقْسَطُ
- (is) more just
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- near
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ
- Allah
- fa-in
- فَإِن
- But if
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- taʿlamū
- تَعْلَمُوٓا۟
- you know
- ābāahum
- ءَابَآءَهُمْ
- their fathers
- fa-ikh'wānukum
- فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ
- then (they are) your brothers
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-dīni
- ٱلدِّينِ
- [the] religion
- wamawālīkum
- وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْۚ
- and your friends
- walaysa
- وَلَيْسَ
- But not is
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- upon you
- junāḥun
- جُنَاحٌ
- any blame
- fīmā
- فِيمَآ
- in what
- akhṭatum
- أَخْطَأْتُم
- you made a mistake
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in it
- walākin
- وَلَٰكِن
- but
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- taʿammadat
- تَعَمَّدَتْ
- intended
- qulūbukum
- قُلُوبُكُمْۚ
- your hearts
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And Allah
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- ghafūran
- غَفُورًا
- (is) Oft-Forgiving
- raḥīman
- رَّحِيمًا
- Most Merciful
Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers – then they are [still] your brothers in religion and those entrusted to you. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 5)Tafsir
اَلنَّبِيُّ اَوْلٰى بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَاَزْوَاجُهٗٓ اُمَّهٰتُهُمْ ۗوَاُولُوا الْاَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلٰى بِبَعْضٍ فِيْ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُهٰجِرِيْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْ تَفْعَلُوْٓا اِلٰٓى اَوْلِيَاۤىِٕكُمْ مَّعْرُوْفًا ۗ كَانَ ذٰلِكَ فِى الْكِتٰبِ مَسْطُوْرًا ٦
- al-nabiyu
- ٱلنَّبِىُّ
- The Prophet
- awlā
- أَوْلَىٰ
- (is) closer
- bil-mu'minīna
- بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- to the believers
- min
- مِنْ
- than
- anfusihim
- أَنفُسِهِمْۖ
- their own selves
- wa-azwājuhu
- وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓ
- and his wives
- ummahātuhum
- أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْۗ
- (are) their mothers
- wa-ulū
- وَأُو۟لُوا۟
- And possessors
- l-arḥāmi
- ٱلْأَرْحَامِ
- (of) relationships
- baʿḍuhum
- بَعْضُهُمْ
- some of them
- awlā
- أَوْلَىٰ
- (are) closer
- bibaʿḍin
- بِبَعْضٍ
- to another
- fī
- فِى
- in
- kitābi
- كِتَٰبِ
- (the) Decree
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- mina
- مِنَ
- than
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- the believers
- wal-muhājirīna
- وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ
- and the emigrants
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَن
- that
- tafʿalū
- تَفْعَلُوٓا۟
- you do
- ilā
- إِلَىٰٓ
- to
- awliyāikum
- أَوْلِيَآئِكُم
- your friends
- maʿrūfan
- مَّعْرُوفًاۚ
- a kindness
- kāna
- كَانَ
- That is
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That is
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Book
- masṭūran
- مَسْطُورًا
- written
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 6)Tafsir
وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِيْثَاقَهُمْ وَمِنْكَ وَمِنْ نُّوْحٍ وَّاِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَمُوْسٰى وَعِيْسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖوَاَخَذْنَا مِنْهُمْ مِّيْثَاقًا غَلِيْظًاۙ ٧
- wa-idh
- وَإِذْ
- And when
- akhadhnā
- أَخَذْنَا
- We took
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-nabiyīna
- ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ
- the Prophets
- mīthāqahum
- مِيثَٰقَهُمْ
- their Covenant
- waminka
- وَمِنكَ
- and from you
- wamin
- وَمِن
- and from
- nūḥin
- نُّوحٍ
- Nuh
- wa-ib'rāhīma
- وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- and Ibrahim
- wamūsā
- وَمُوسَىٰ
- and Musa
- waʿīsā
- وَعِيسَى
- and Isa
- ib'ni
- ٱبْنِ
- son
- maryama
- مَرْيَمَۖ
- (of) Maryam
- wa-akhadhnā
- وَأَخَذْنَا
- And We took
- min'hum
- مِنْهُم
- from them
- mīthāqan
- مِّيثَٰقًا
- a covenant
- ghalīẓan
- غَلِيظًا
- strong
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 7)Tafsir
لِّيَسْـَٔلَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ عَنْ صِدْقِهِمْ ۚوَاَعَدَّ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ࣖ ٨
- liyasala
- لِّيَسْـَٔلَ
- That He may ask
- l-ṣādiqīna
- ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
- the truthful
- ʿan
- عَن
- about
- ṣid'qihim
- صِدْقِهِمْۚ
- their truth
- wa-aʿadda
- وَأَعَدَّ
- And He has prepared
- lil'kāfirīna
- لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- for the disbelievers
- ʿadhāban
- عَذَابًا
- a punishment
- alīman
- أَلِيمًا
- painful
That He may question the truthful about their truth. And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 8)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ جَاۤءَتْكُمْ جُنُوْدٌ فَاَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا وَّجُنُوْدًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا ۗوَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرًاۚ ٩
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe!
- udh'kurū
- ٱذْكُرُوا۟
- Remember
- niʿ'mata
- نِعْمَةَ
- (the) Favor
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- upon you
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- jāatkum
- جَآءَتْكُمْ
- came to you
- junūdun
- جُنُودٌ
- (the) hosts
- fa-arsalnā
- فَأَرْسَلْنَا
- and We sent
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- upon them
- rīḥan
- رِيحًا
- a wind
- wajunūdan
- وَجُنُودًا
- and hosts
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- tarawhā
- تَرَوْهَاۚ
- you (could) see them
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And Allah is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- And Allah is
- bimā
- بِمَا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
- baṣīran
- بَصِيرًا
- All-Seer
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 9)Tafsir
اِذْ جَاۤءُوْكُمْ مِّنْ فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ اَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ وَاِذْ زَاغَتِ الْاَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوْبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ الظُّنُوْنَا۠ ۗ ١٠
- idh
- إِذْ
- When
- jāūkum
- جَآءُوكُم
- they came upon you
- min
- مِّن
- from
- fawqikum
- فَوْقِكُمْ
- above you
- wamin
- وَمِنْ
- and from
- asfala
- أَسْفَلَ
- below
- minkum
- مِنكُمْ
- you
- wa-idh
- وَإِذْ
- and when
- zāghati
- زَاغَتِ
- grew wild
- l-abṣāru
- ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ
- the eyes
- wabalaghati
- وَبَلَغَتِ
- and reached
- l-qulūbu
- ٱلْقُلُوبُ
- the hearts
- l-ḥanājira
- ٱلْحَنَاجِرَ
- the throats
- wataẓunnūna
- وَتَظُنُّونَ
- and you assumed
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- about Allah
- l-ẓunūnā
- ٱلظُّنُونَا۠
- the assumptions
[Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats, and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions. (QS. [33] Al-Ahzab: 10)Tafsir
