Al-Qur'an Surah As-Sajdah Verse 22
As-Sajdah [32]: 22 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهٖ ثُمَّ اَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا ۗاِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ مُنْتَقِمُوْنَ ࣖ (السجدة : ٣٢)

- And who
- aẓlamu
- أَظْلَمُ
- (is) more unjust
- mimman
- مِمَّن
- than (he) who
- dhukkira
- ذُكِّرَ
- is reminded
- biāyāti
- بِـَٔايَٰتِ
- of (the) Verses
- rabbihi
- رَبِّهِۦ
- (of) his Lord
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- aʿraḍa
- أَعْرَضَ
- he turns away
- ʿanhā
- عَنْهَآۚ
- from them?
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed We
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-muj'rimīna
- ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
- the criminals
- muntaqimūna
- مُنتَقِمُونَ
- (will) take retribution
Transliteration:
Wa man azlamu mimman zukkira bi aayaati rabbihee summa a'rada 'anhaa; innaa minal mujrimeena muntaqimmon(QS. as-Sajdah:22)
English / Sahih Translation:
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution. (QS. As-Sajdah, ayah 22)

And who (is) more unjust/oppressive than who was reminded with His Lord`s verses/signs/evidences, then he turned away/opposed from it? That We are from the criminals/sinners, We are revenging/punishing (We are revenging/punishing the criminals/sinners).

Tafsir jalalayn
And who does greater wrong than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord, [such as] the Qur'n, but then turns away from them?, in other words, none does greater wrong than such [a person]. Assuredly We shall take vengeance upon the criminals, the idolaters.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِأيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا
And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat of his Lord, then turns aside therefrom,
means, there is no one who does more wrong than the one whom Allah reminds of His signs and explains them to him clearly, then after that he neglects and ignores them, and turns away from them, forgetting them as if he does not know them.
Qatadah said;
"Beware of turning away from the remembrance of Allah, for whoever turns away from remembering Him will be the most misguided and the most in need, and the most guilty of sin."
Allah says, warning the one who does that;
إِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ
Verily, We shall exact retribution from the criminals.
meaning, `We shall avenge Ourselves on those who do that in the strongest possible terms.
