Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rum Verse 11

Ar-Rum [30]: 11 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

اَللّٰهُ يَبْدَؤُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُهٗ ثُمَّ اِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ (الروم : ٣٠)

Transliteration:

Allaahu yabda'ul khalqa summa yu'eeduhoo summa ilaihi turja'oon (QS. ar-Rūm:11)

English / Sahih Translation:

Allah begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned. (QS. Ar-Rum, ayah 11)

Allah originates the creation, then He will create it again, then to Him you are to be returned.

Tafsir jalalayn

God originates creation, in other words, He produces the creation of mankind, then He will reproduce it, that is, the creation of them, after their death, then to Him you shall be returned (read turja`na; or yurja`na, `they shall be returned').

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

Allah said;

اللَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ

Allah originates the creation, then He will repeat it,

Just as He was able to create it in the first place, so He is also able to repeat it.

ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ



then to Him you will be returned.

on the Day of Resurrection, when each will be requited according to his deeds.

Then Allah says;

وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُبْلِسُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
