Ali 'Imran [3]: 22 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۖ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ نّٰصِرِيْنَ (آل عمران : ٣)

ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who -
ḥabiṭat
حَبِطَتْ
became worthless
aʿmāluhum
أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ
their deeds
فِى
in
l-dun'yā
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the world
wal-ākhirati
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
and (in) the Hereafter
wamā
وَمَا
And not
lahum
لَهُم
(will be) for them
min
مِّن
any
nāṣirīna
نَّٰصِرِينَ
helpers

Transliteration:

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena habitat a'maaluhum fid dunyaa wal Aaakhirati wa maa lahum min naasireen (QS. ʾĀl ʿImrān:22)

English / Sahih Translation:

They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers. (QS. Ali 'Imran, ayah 22)

Those are the ones whose deeds have gone to waste in this world and in the Hereafter. For them there are no helpers.

They are those whose deeds are wasted in this world and in the Hereafter; and they do not have any aides.

They are the ones whose works have failed in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.

Those are the ones whose works have been wasted in both this world and the Hereafter, and they have no helpers (to restore their works to their benefit and save them from punishment).

It is they whose deeds go in vain in this world and in the Hereafter, and they shall have none to help them.

English Literal

Those are whose deeds (were) wasted in the present world , and the end/other life, and (there is) none for them from (a) savior/victoriors .

Tafsir jalalayn

Those are the ones whose works, what good they did in the way of charity and kindness to kin, have failed, [whose works] are invalid, in this world and the Hereafter, and so they have nothing to reckon with, since these [works] are of no consequence; they have no helpers, [no] protectors from the chastisement.

They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers
