اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَمَاتُوْا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُّقْبَلَ مِنْ اَحَدِهِمْ مِّلْءُ الْاَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَّلَوِ افْتَدٰى بِهٖۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ وَّمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ نّٰصِرِيْنَ ࣖ ۔ ٩١
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve[d]
- wamātū
- وَمَاتُوا۟
- and died
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- while they
- kuffārun
- كُفَّارٌ
- (are) disbelievers
- falan
- فَلَن
- then never
- yuq'bala
- يُقْبَلَ
- will be accepted
- min
- مِنْ
- from
- aḥadihim
- أَحَدِهِم
- any one of them
- mil'u
- مِّلْءُ
- full
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- earth
- dhahaban
- ذَهَبًا
- (of) gold
- walawi
- وَلَوِ
- [and] (even) if
- if'tadā
- ٱفْتَدَىٰ
- he offered as ransom
- bihi
- بِهِۦٓۗ
- it
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- alīmun
- أَلِيمٌ
- painful
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- lahum
- لَهُم
- (will be) for them
- min
- مِّن
- from
- nāṣirīna
- نَّٰصِرِينَ
- any helpers
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers – never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 91)Tafsir
لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتّٰى تُنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا تُحِبُّوْنَ ۗوَمَا تُنْفِقُوْا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِهٖ عَلِيْمٌ ٩٢
- lan
- لَن
- Never
- tanālū
- تَنَالُوا۟
- will you attain
- l-bira
- ٱلْبِرَّ
- [the] righteousness
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- tunfiqū
- تُنفِقُوا۟
- you spend
- mimmā
- مِمَّا
- from what
- tuḥibbūna
- تُحِبُّونَۚ
- you love
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And whatever
- tunfiqū
- تُنفِقُوا۟
- you spend
- min
- مِن
- of
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- a thing
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- of it
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌ
- (is) All-Knowing
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 92)Tafsir
۞ كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلُ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرٰىةُ ۗ قُلْ فَأْتُوْا بِالتَّوْرٰىةِ فَاتْلُوْهَآ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٩٣
- kullu
- كُلُّ
- All
- l-ṭaʿāmi
- ٱلطَّعَامِ
- [the] food
- kāna
- كَانَ
- was
- ḥillan
- حِلًّا
- lawful
- libanī
- لِّبَنِىٓ
- for (the) Children
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (of) Israel
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- mā
- مَا
- what
- ḥarrama
- حَرَّمَ
- made unlawful
- is'rāīlu
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلُ
- Israel
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- nafsihi
- نَفْسِهِۦ
- himself
- min
- مِن
- [from]
- qabli
- قَبْلِ
- before
- an
- أَن
- [that]
- tunazzala
- تُنَزَّلَ
- (was) revealed
- l-tawrātu
- ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُۗ
- the Taurat
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- fatū
- فَأْتُوا۟
- "So bring
- bil-tawrāti
- بِٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ
- the Taurat
- fa-it'lūhā
- فَٱتْلُوهَآ
- and recite it
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you are
- ṣādiqīna
- صَٰدِقِينَ
- truthful"
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel [i.e., Jacob] had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful." (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 93)Tafsir
فَمَنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ٩٤
- famani
- فَمَنِ
- Then whoever
- if'tarā
- ٱفْتَرَىٰ
- fabricates
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- about
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- l-kadhiba
- ٱلْكَذِبَ
- [the] lie
- min
- مِنۢ
- from
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- fa-ulāika
- فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- then those
- humu
- هُمُ
- they
- l-ẓālimūna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- (are) the wrongdoers
And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that – then those are [truly] the wrongdoers. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 94)Tafsir
قُلْ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ ۗ فَاتَّبِعُوْا مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًاۗ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ٩٥
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- ṣadaqa
- صَدَقَ
- (has) spoken the truth
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۗ
- Allah
- fa-ittabiʿū
- فَٱتَّبِعُوا۟
- then follow
- millata
- مِلَّةَ
- (the) religion
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- (of) Ibrahim
- ḥanīfan
- حَنِيفًا
- (the) upright
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- he was
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-mush'rikīna
- ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
- the polytheists
Say, "Allah has told the truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists." (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 95)Tafsir
اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُّضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِيْ بِبَكَّةَ مُبٰرَكًا وَّهُدًى لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَۚ ٩٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- awwala
- أَوَّلَ
- (the) first
- baytin
- بَيْتٍ
- House
- wuḍiʿa
- وُضِعَ
- set up
- lilnnāsi
- لِلنَّاسِ
- for the mankind
- lalladhī
- لَلَّذِى
- (is) the one which
- bibakkata
- بِبَكَّةَ
- (is) at Bakkah
- mubārakan
- مُبَارَكًا
- blessed
- wahudan
- وَهُدًى
- and a guidance
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- for the worlds
Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah [i.e., Makkah] – blessed and a guidance for the worlds. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 96)Tafsir
فِيْهِ اٰيٰتٌۢ بَيِّنٰتٌ مَّقَامُ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ ەۚ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهٗ كَانَ اٰمِنًا ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ اِلَيْهِ سَبِيْلًا ۗ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٩٧
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- In it
- āyātun
- ءَايَٰتٌۢ
- (are) signs
- bayyinātun
- بَيِّنَٰتٌ
- clear
- maqāmu
- مَّقَامُ
- standing place
- ib'rāhīma
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَۖ
- (of) Ibrahim
- waman
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- dakhalahu
- دَخَلَهُۥ
- enters it
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- āminan
- ءَامِنًاۗ
- safe
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And (due) to Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- upon
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- the mankind
- ḥijju
- حِجُّ
- (is) pilgrimage
- l-bayti
- ٱلْبَيْتِ
- (of) the House
- mani
- مَنِ
- (for one) who
- is'taṭāʿa
- ٱسْتَطَاعَ
- is able
- ilayhi
- إِلَيْهِ
- to [it]
- sabīlan
- سَبِيلًاۚ
- (find) a way
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- kafara
- كَفَرَ
- disbelieved
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ghaniyyun
- غَنِىٌّ
- (is) free from need
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- of
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- the worlds
In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it [i.e., the Haram] shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves [i.e., refuses] – then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 97)Tafsir
قُلْ يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَاللّٰهُ شَهِيْدٌ عَلٰى مَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٨
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- yāahla
- يَٰٓأَهْلَ
- "O People!
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- "(of) the Book!
- lima
- لِمَ
- Why
- takfurūna
- تَكْفُرُونَ
- (do) you disbelieve
- biāyāti
- بِـَٔايَٰتِ
- in (the) Verses
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- while Allah
- shahīdun
- شَهِيدٌ
- (is) a Witness
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- over
- mā
- مَا
- what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do?"
Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while Allah is Witness over what you do?" (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 98)Tafsir
قُلْ يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ تَبْغُوْنَهَا عِوَجًا وَّاَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاۤءُ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٩
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- yāahla
- يَٰٓأَهْلَ
- "O People
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book!
- lima
- لِمَ
- Why
- taṣuddūna
- تَصُدُّونَ
- (do) you hinder
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- man
- مَنْ
- (those) who
- āmana
- ءَامَنَ
- believe[d]
- tabghūnahā
- تَبْغُونَهَا
- seeking (to make) it
- ʿiwajan
- عِوَجًا
- (seem) crooked
- wa-antum
- وَأَنتُمْ
- while you
- shuhadāu
- شُهَدَآءُۗ
- (are) witnesses?
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- bighāfilin
- بِغَٰفِلٍ
- (is) unaware
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do
Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do." (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 99)Tafsir
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنْ تُطِيْعُوْا فَرِيْقًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ يَرُدُّوْكُمْ بَعْدَ اِيْمَانِكُمْ كٰفِرِيْنَ ١٠٠
- yāayyuhā
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe[d]!
- in
- إِن
- If
- tuṭīʿū
- تُطِيعُوا۟
- you obey
- farīqan
- فَرِيقًا
- a group
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ūtū
- أُوتُوا۟
- were given
- l-kitāba
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book
- yaruddūkum
- يَرُدُّوكُم
- they will turn you back
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- īmānikum
- إِيمَٰنِكُمْ
- your belief
- kāfirīna
- كَٰفِرِينَ
- (as) disbelievers
O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers. (QS. [3] Ali 'Imran: 100)Tafsir
