Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Ankabut Verse 7

Al-'Ankabut [29]: 7 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ اَحْسَنَ الَّذِيْ كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ (العنكبوت : ٢٩)

wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ: And those who

āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟: believe

waʿamilū
وَعَمِلُوا۟: and do

l-ṣāliḥāti
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ: righteous (deeds)

lanukaffiranna
لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ: surely We will remove

ʿanhum
عَنْهُمْ: from them

sayyiātihim
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ: their evil deeds

walanajziyannahum
وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ: and We will surely reward them

aḥsana
أَحْسَنَ: (the) best

alladhī
ٱلَّذِى: (of) what

kānū
كَانُوا۟: they used

yaʿmalūna
يَعْمَلُونَ: (to) do

Transliteration:

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lanukaf firanna 'anhum saiyiaatihim wa lanajziyannahum ahsanal lazee kaanoo ya'maloon (QS. al-ʿAnkabūt:7)

English / Sahih Translation:

And those who believe and do righteous deeds – We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do. (QS. Al-'Ankabut, ayah 7)

Those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will expiate their bad deeds and will give them a better reward (than their expectation) for what they used to do.

Tafsir jalalayn

And those who believe and perform righteous deeds, We will surely absolve them of their misdeeds, by their performance of righteous deeds, and We will indeed requite them with the best of what they used to do, namely, their righteous deeds (it [ahsana] is in the accusative because the operator of the oblique [bi] has been omitted).

Those who believe, and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall expiate from them their evil deeds and We shall indeed reward them according to the best of that which they used to do.
