(The Spider)

51

اَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ اَنَّآ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتٰبَ يُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ ۗاِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَّذِكْرٰى لِقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ ࣖ ٥١

awalam
أَوَلَمْ
And is (it) not
yakfihim
يَكْفِهِمْ
sufficient for them
annā
أَنَّآ
that We
anzalnā
أَنزَلْنَا
revealed
ʿalayka
عَلَيْكَ
to you
l-kitāba
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
yut'lā
يُتْلَىٰ
(which) is recited
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْۚ
to them?
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
فِى
in
dhālika
ذَٰلِكَ
that
laraḥmatan
لَرَحْمَةً
surely is a mercy
wadhik'rā
وَذِكْرَىٰ
and a reminder
liqawmin
لِقَوْمٍ
for a people
yu'minūna
يُؤْمِنُونَ
who believe
And is it not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book [i.e., the Quran] which is recited to them? Indeed in that is a mercy and reminder for a people who believe. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 51)
Tafsir
52

قُلْ كَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيْدًاۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِالْبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوْا بِاللّٰهِ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ٥٢

qul
قُلْ
Say
kafā
كَفَىٰ
"Sufficient is
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
Allah
baynī
بَيْنِى
between me
wabaynakum
وَبَيْنَكُمْ
and between you
shahīdan
شَهِيدًاۖ
(as) Witness
yaʿlamu
يَعْلَمُ
He knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
l-samāwāti
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِۗ
and the earth
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
bil-bāṭili
بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ
in [the] falsehood
wakafarū
وَكَفَرُوا۟
and disbelieve
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those
humu
هُمُ
they
l-khāsirūna
ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
(are) the losers"
Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah – it is those who are the losers." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 52)
Tafsir
53

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَ بِالْعَذَابِۗ وَلَوْلَآ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَاۤءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُۗ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَّهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ٥٣

wayastaʿjilūnaka
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ
And they ask you to hasten
bil-ʿadhābi
بِٱلْعَذَابِۚ
[with] the punishment
walawlā
وَلَوْلَآ
And if not
ajalun
أَجَلٌ
(for) a term
musamman
مُّسَمًّى
appointed
lajāahumu
لَّجَآءَهُمُ
surely (would) have come to them
l-ʿadhābu
ٱلْعَذَابُ
the punishment
walayatiyannahum
وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم
But it will surely come to them
baghtatan
بَغْتَةً
suddenly
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
لَا
(do) not
yashʿurūna
يَشْعُرُونَ
perceive
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 53)
Tafsir
54

يَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَ بِالْعَذَابِۗ وَاِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيْطَةٌ ۢ بِالْكٰفِرِيْنَۙ ٥٤

yastaʿjilūnaka
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ
They ask you to hasten
bil-ʿadhābi
بِٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment
wa-inna
وَإِنَّ
And indeed
jahannama
جَهَنَّمَ
Hell
lamuḥīṭatun
لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ
will surely encompass
bil-kāfirīna
بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
the disbelievers
They urge you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell will be encompassing of the disbelievers (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 54)
Tafsir
55

يَوْمَ يَغْشٰىهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ اَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُوْلُ ذُوْقُوْا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٥٥

yawma
يَوْمَ
On (the) Day
yaghshāhumu
يَغْشَىٰهُمُ
will cover them
l-ʿadhābu
ٱلْعَذَابُ
the punishment
min
مِن
from
fawqihim
فَوْقِهِمْ
above them
wamin
وَمِن
and from
taḥti
تَحْتِ
below
arjulihim
أَرْجُلِهِمْ
their feet
wayaqūlu
وَيَقُولُ
and He will say
dhūqū
ذُوقُوا۟
"Taste
مَا
what
kuntum
كُنتُمْ
you used
taʿmalūna
تَعْمَلُونَ
(to) do"
On the Day the punishment will cover them from above them and from below their feet and it is said, "Taste [the result of] what you used to do." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 55)
Tafsir
56

يٰعِبَادِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنَّ اَرْضِيْ وَاسِعَةٌ فَاِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُوْنِ ٥٦

yāʿibādiya
يَٰعِبَادِىَ
O My servants
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
believe!
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
arḍī
أَرْضِى
My earth
wāsiʿatun
وَٰسِعَةٌ
(is) spacious
fa-iyyāya
فَإِيَّٰىَ
so only
fa-uʿ'budūni
فَٱعْبُدُونِ
worship Me
O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 56)
Tafsir
57

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَاۤىِٕقَةُ الْمَوْتِۗ ثُمَّ اِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ ٥٧

kullu
كُلُّ
Every
nafsin
نَفْسٍ
soul
dhāiqatu
ذَآئِقَةُ
(will) taste
l-mawti
ٱلْمَوْتِۖ
the death
thumma
ثُمَّ
Then
ilaynā
إِلَيْنَا
to Us
tur'jaʿūna
تُرْجَعُونَ
you will be returned
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 57)
Tafsir
58

وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ نِعْمَ اَجْرُ الْعٰمِلِيْنَۖ ٥٨

wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
waʿamilū
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
l-ṣāliḥāti
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
[the] righteous deeds
lanubawwi-annahum
لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم
surely We will give them a place
mina
مِّنَ
in
l-janati
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
Paradise
ghurafan
غُرَفًا
lofty dwellings
tajrī
تَجْرِى
flow
min
مِن
from
taḥtihā
تَحْتِهَا
underneath it
l-anhāru
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the rivers
khālidīna
خَٰلِدِينَ
will abide forever
fīhā
فِيهَاۚ
in it
niʿ'ma
نِعْمَ
Excellent is
ajru
أَجْرُ
(the) reward
l-ʿāmilīna
ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ
(of) the workers
And those who have believed and done righteous deeds – We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 58)
Tafsir
59

الَّذِيْنَ صَبَرُوْا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُوْنَ ٥٩

alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
ṣabarū
صَبَرُوا۟
(are) patient
waʿalā
وَعَلَىٰ
and upon
rabbihim
رَبِّهِمْ
their Lord
yatawakkalūna
يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
put their trust
Who have been patient and upon their Lord rely. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 59)
Tafsir
60

وَكَاَيِّنْ مِّنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَاۖ اللّٰهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَاِيَّاكُمْ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ٦٠

waka-ayyin
وَكَأَيِّن
And how many
min
مِّن
of
dābbatin
دَآبَّةٍ
a creature
لَّا
(does) not
taḥmilu
تَحْمِلُ
carry
riz'qahā
رِزْقَهَا
its provision
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
yarzuquhā
يَرْزُقُهَا
provides (for) it
wa-iyyākum
وَإِيَّاكُمْۚ
and (for) you
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
And He
l-samīʿu
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
(is) the All-Hearer
l-ʿalīmu
ٱلْعَلِيمُ
the All-Knower
And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 60)
