يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيَرْحَمُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۚوَاِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُوْنَ ٢١
- yuʿadhibu
- يُعَذِّبُ
- He punishes
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- wayarḥamu
- وَيَرْحَمُ
- and has mercy
- man
- مَن
- (on) whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُۖ
- He wills
- wa-ilayhi
- وَإِلَيْهِ
- and to Him
- tuq'labūna
- تُقْلَبُونَ
- you will be returned
He punishes whom He wills and has mercy upon whom He wills, and to Him you will be returned. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 21)Tafsir
وَمَآ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِى السَّمَاۤءِ ۖوَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ࣖ ٢٢
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And not
- antum
- أَنتُم
- you
- bimuʿ'jizīna
- بِمُعْجِزِينَ
- can escape
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِۖ
- the heaven
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- lakum
- لَكُم
- for you
- min
- مِّن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- min
- مِن
- any
- waliyyin
- وَلِىٍّ
- protector
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- naṣīrin
- نَصِيرٍ
- a helper
And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth or in the heaven. And you have not other than Allah any protector or any helper. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 22)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَلِقَاۤىِٕهٖٓ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يَىِٕسُوْا مِنْ رَّحْمَتِيْ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٢٣
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- biāyāti
- بِـَٔايَٰتِ
- in (the) Signs
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- waliqāihi
- وَلِقَآئِهِۦٓ
- and (the) meeting (with) Him
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- ya-isū
- يَئِسُوا۟
- (have) despaired
- min
- مِن
- of
- raḥmatī
- رَّحْمَتِى
- My Mercy
- wa-ulāika
- وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- And those
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- alīmun
- أَلِيمٌ
- painful
And the ones who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and the meeting with Him – those have despaired of My mercy, and they will have a painful punishment. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 23)Tafsir
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهٖٓ اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوا اقْتُلُوْهُ اَوْ حَرِّقُوْهُ فَاَنْجٰىهُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ النَّارِۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ ٢٤
- famā
- فَمَا
- And not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- was
- jawāba
- جَوَابَ
- (the) answer
- qawmihi
- قَوْمِهِۦٓ
- (of) his people
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَن
- that
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- they said
- uq'tulūhu
- ٱقْتُلُوهُ
- "Kill him
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- ḥarriqūhu
- حَرِّقُوهُ
- burn him"
- fa-anjāhu
- فَأَنجَىٰهُ
- But Allah saved him
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- But Allah saved him
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِۚ
- the fire
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- laāyātin
- لَءَايَٰتٍ
- surely (are) Signs
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- who believe
And the answer of his [i.e., Abraham's] people was not but that they said, "Kill him or burn him," but Allah saved him from the fire. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 24)Tafsir
وَقَالَ اِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَوْثَانًاۙ مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ وَّيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا ۖوَّمَأْوٰىكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ نّٰصِرِيْنَۖ ٢٥
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- And he said
- innamā
- إِنَّمَا
- "Only
- ittakhadhtum
- ٱتَّخَذْتُم
- you have taken
- min
- مِّن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- awthānan
- أَوْثَٰنًا
- idols
- mawaddata
- مَّوَدَّةَ
- (out of) love
- baynikum
- بَيْنِكُمْ
- among you
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ḥayati
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
- (of) the world
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- yakfuru
- يَكْفُرُ
- you will deny
- baʿḍukum
- بَعْضُكُم
- one another
- bibaʿḍin
- بِبَعْضٍ
- one another
- wayalʿanu
- وَيَلْعَنُ
- and curse
- baʿḍukum
- بَعْضُكُم
- one another
- baʿḍan
- بَعْضًا
- one another
- wamawākumu
- وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُ
- and your abode
- l-nāru
- ٱلنَّارُ
- (will be) the Fire
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- lakum
- لَكُم
- for you
- min
- مِّن
- any
- nāṣirīna
- نَّٰصِرِينَ
- helpers"
And [Abraham] said, "You have only taken, other than Allah, idols as [a bond of] affection among you in worldly life. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will deny one another and curse one another, and your refuge will be the Fire, and you will not have any helpers." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 25)Tafsir
۞ فَاٰمَنَ لَهٗ لُوْطٌۘ وَقَالَ اِنِّيْ مُهَاجِرٌ اِلٰى رَبِّيْ ۗاِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٢٦
- faāmana
- فَـَٔامَنَ
- And believed
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- [in] him
- lūṭun
- لُوطٌۘ
- Lut
- waqāla
- وَقَالَ
- and he said
- innī
- إِنِّى
- "Indeed I (am)
- muhājirun
- مُهَاجِرٌ
- emigrating
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- rabbī
- رَبِّىٓۖ
- my Lord
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- [He] (is)
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- the All-Mighty
- l-ḥakīmu
- ٱلْحَكِيمُ
- the All-Wise"
And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 26)Tafsir
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهٗٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتٰبَ وَاٰتَيْنٰهُ اَجْرَهٗ فِى الدُّنْيَا ۚوَاِنَّهٗ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ٢٧
- wawahabnā
- وَوَهَبْنَا
- And We granted
- lahu
- لَهُۥٓ
- to him
- is'ḥāqa
- إِسْحَٰقَ
- Ishaq
- wayaʿqūba
- وَيَعْقُوبَ
- and Yaqub
- wajaʿalnā
- وَجَعَلْنَا
- and We placed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhurriyyatihi
- ذُرِّيَّتِهِ
- his offsprings
- l-nubuwata
- ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
- the Prophethood
- wal-kitāba
- وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- and the Book
- waātaynāhu
- وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ
- And We gave him
- ajrahu
- أَجْرَهُۥ
- his reward
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
- the world
- wa-innahu
- وَإِنَّهُۥ
- And indeed he
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- the Hereafter
- lamina
- لَمِنَ
- (is) surely among
- l-ṣāliḥīna
- ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
- the righteous
And We gave to him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 27)Tafsir
وَلُوْطًا اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهٖٓ اِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُوْنَ الْفَاحِشَةَ ۖمَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٢٨
- walūṭan
- وَلُوطًا
- And Lut
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- qāla
- قَالَ
- he said
- liqawmihi
- لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ
- to his people
- innakum
- إِنَّكُمْ
- "Indeed you
- latatūna
- لَتَأْتُونَ
- commit
- l-fāḥishata
- ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ
- the immorality
- mā
- مَا
- not
- sabaqakum
- سَبَقَكُم
- has preceded you
- bihā
- بِهَا
- with it
- min
- مِنْ
- any
- aḥadin
- أَحَدٍ
- one
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- the worlds
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds. (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 28)Tafsir
اَىِٕنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُوْنَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُوْنَ السَّبِيْلَ ەۙ وَتَأْتُوْنَ فِيْ نَادِيْكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ ۗفَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهٖٓ اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ٢٩
- a-innakum
- أَئِنَّكُمْ
- Indeed you
- latatūna
- لَتَأْتُونَ
- approach
- l-rijāla
- ٱلرِّجَالَ
- the men
- wataqṭaʿūna
- وَتَقْطَعُونَ
- and you cut off
- l-sabīla
- ٱلسَّبِيلَ
- the road
- watatūna
- وَتَأْتُونَ
- and commit
- fī
- فِى
- in
- nādīkumu
- نَادِيكُمُ
- your meetings
- l-munkara
- ٱلْمُنكَرَۖ
- evil?"
- famā
- فَمَا
- And not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- was
- jawāba
- جَوَابَ
- (the) answer
- qawmihi
- قَوْمِهِۦٓ
- (of) his people
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَن
- that
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- they said
- i'tinā
- ٱئْتِنَا
- "Bring upon us
- biʿadhābi
- بِعَذَابِ
- (the) punishment
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- in
- إِن
- if
- kunta
- كُنتَ
- you are
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-ṣādiqīna
- ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
- the truthful"
Indeed, you approach men and obstruct the road and commit in your meetings [every] evil." And the answer of his people was not but that they said, "Bring us the punishment of Allah, if you should be of the truthful." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 29)Tafsir
قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِيْ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ ࣖ ٣٠
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- "My Lord!
- unṣur'nī
- ٱنصُرْنِى
- Help me
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- against
- l-qawmi
- ٱلْقَوْمِ
- the people
- l-muf'sidīna
- ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
- the corrupters"
He said, "My Lord, support me against the corrupting people." (QS. [29] Al-'Ankabut: 30)Tafsir
